Ash Moeke (born 9 March 1988) is a New Zealand rugby union player. [1] He currently plays at French club Vannes having previously been playing as a First five-eighth for the Southland Stags in the ITM Cup competition.
Moeke began his professional rugby career for Northland Taniwha as a 20 year old before transferring to play for southern neighbours Auckland before the 2009 Air New Zealand Cup. He spent the next two seasons playing for the province appearing in a total of 11 games before returning to the Taniwha where he established himself as the starting first five.
After spending two seasons as Northland's first five, Moeke headed to France where he represented Tarbes Pyrénées Rugby. He became known for his accurate kicking game both in general play and as a goal kicker as well as his ability to facilitate the game with his passing and running. After three years with the Pro D2 side Moeke returned to New Zealand where he signed with Southland Rugby as an insurance plan for incumbent five eighth Lima Sopoaga who was selected for the All Blacks after a strong Super Rugby season. The National Provincial Championship, often simply called the NPC, is an annual round-robin rugby union competition in men's domestic New Zealand rugby. First played in 1976, it is the second highest level of competition in New Zealand alongside the Ranfurly Shield. It is organised by New Zealand Rugby (NZR) and since 2021, it has been known as the Bunnings NPC after its headline sponsor. A concurrent women's tournament is also held, the Farah Palmer Cup.
Quinton James Cowan is a New Zealand rugby union footballer. He first played for the All Blacks – New Zealand's national team – during the 2004 tour to the United Kingdom and France, and played his last Test match for the side during the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Cowan was born in Gore and attended Gore High School. After he left school a strong season for the Mataura Rugby Club saw him selected to play provincially for the Southland Stags in 2000. He was selected for the Highlanders in the 2003 Super 12 season, and continued to play for both the Highlanders and Southland until signing for Gloucester in 2012.
David George Hall is a New Zealand rugby union player. He predominantly played as a hooker. He comes from a rugby background being the grand nephew of former All Black and Southland legend Les George.

The 2009 Air New Zealand Cup was the 33rd provincial rugby union competition, the fourth since the competition's reconstruction in 2006, involving the top 14 provincial unions in New Zealand. It ran for 15 weeks from 30 July to 7 November. It was also the last edition of the provincial competition to use the Air New Zealand Cup name, as the competition's sponsorship contract with Air New Zealand ended after that season. The 2010 competition will be held under a new name, the ITM Cup.
