Asha Makuto (born 2 May 1986) is a retired Kenyan female volleyball player. She was part of the Kenya women's national volleyball team.

Volleyball is a popular team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964.

Kenya womens national volleyball team

The Kenya women's national volleyball team represents Kenya in international volleyball competitions. Kenya has dominated the African continent since the 90's winning the Women's African Volleyball Championship a record nine times. They also won the 2015 FIVB World Grand Prix group 3 title after beating Peru in the final.

She participated at the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Japan. [1] She played with Kenya Pipeline Company.

The 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship was the 16th edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. Like the previous tournament, the 2010 edition also was held in Japan, from 29 October to 14 November 2010, though the range of venues and locations was modified slightly. Twenty-four teams participated in the tournament.
