Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is an Indian former international cricketer who captained the Indian national team. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket. He also led the teams that won the Asia Cup in 2010, 2016 and was a member of the title winning squad in 2018.
The Arun Jaitley Stadium is a cricket stadium owned and operated by the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) and located on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi. It was established in 1883 as the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, and named after the nearby Kotla fort. It is the second oldest functional international cricket stadium in India, after the Eden Gardens of Kolkata. As of 25 October 2019, it has hosted 36 Tests, 29 ODIs and 6 T20I.
Luteru Ross Poutoa Lote Taylor is a former New Zealand international cricketer and former captain of the New Zealand national team. Batting predominantly at number four, when he announced his retirement from international cricket at the end of 2021, he was the leading run-scorer for New Zealand in Test and One Day International cricket. Taylor was a key member of the New Zealand team that won the 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship, where he scored the winning boundary in the final. He was also a part of the New Zealand squads to finish as runners-up in two Cricket World Cup finals in 2015 and 2019.
Dale Willem Steyn is a South African former professional cricketer who played for the South African cricket team. He is regarded by many as the greatest bowler of the Modern Era. Steyn's late swing combined with sheer pace was one of the peculiar qualities which made him stand apart from other bowlers. Many cricketing legends has regarded his length deliveries unplayable when the ball swung. During the 2007–08 season, Steyn achieved a tally of 78 wickets at an average of 16.24, and was subsequently rewarded with the ICC 2008 Test Cricketer of the Year Award. He was named one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 2013, and the Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World for the year 2013 in 2014's Wisden Cricketers' Almanack. In December 2015 he injured his shoulder in the Durban Test against England ; after this injury his career was a short lived one as it was followed by multiple injuries; these injuries were the reason why many cricketing greats didn't even consider post 2015 Steyn as "The Dale Steyn" which the batsmen feared to face. He was featured in Wisden Cricketers of the Decade at the end of 2019. He also was included in the ICC Test Team of the Decade at the end of 2020.
Sean Colin Williams is a Zimbabwean international cricketer who currently captains the national team in Test cricket. He plays all formats primarily as a batting all-rounder. In September 2019, Zimbabwe Cricket named him as Zimbabwe's captain, after Hamilton Masakadza retired from international cricket. Later the same month, Williams captained Zimbabwe for the first time, in the opening Twenty20 International (T20I) match of the 2019–20 Singapore Tri-Nation Series, against Nepal.
David hemp Lloyd Hemp is a Bermudian cricket coach and former cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler, who has played domestic cricket for Glamorgan, Free State, and Warwickshire. David's younger brother, Tim, previously played for Glamorgan's second eleven, and appeared for Wales Minor Counties in the NatWest Trophy. Hemp has also played List A and Twenty20 cricket. Krishnakumar Dinesh Karthik is an Indian commentator and former professional cricketer who played for the India national cricket team. He was also the captain of the Tamil Nadu cricket team in domestic cricket. He made his debut for the Indian cricket team in 2004. He was the 4th Indian batsman to play 300 T20 matches. Karthik was a member of the team that won both the inaugural 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.
Craig Overton is an English cricketer who plays for Somerset and England. He is an all-rounder who bowls right-arm medium-fast and bats right-handed. He made his international debut for England in December 2017. His twin brother Jamie Overton also plays cricket for England.
Gurkeerat Singh Mann is a former Indian professional cricketer who played for Punjab in domestic cricket. A right-handed batsman and off break bowler, he appeared for Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL and was a regular in the India A team. A right-arm fast bowler with a unique bowling action, Bumrah is widely regarded as one of the best bowlers in the world and one of the greatest fast bowlers India has ever produced. He plays for Gujarat in domestic cricket and for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was a key member of the Indian team that won the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup, picking up the player of the tournament award.
Mustafizur Rahman is a Bangladeshi international cricketer. A left-arm medium fast bowler, he is recognized for his most prolific 'slower cutters' all over the world. Born on 6 September 1995, in Satkhira, Bangladesh, Mustafizur Rahman's career took off during the 2015 Bangladesh Premier League when he caught the attention of cricket pundits with his ability to bowl accurate cutters and slower deliveries, earning him the nickname "The Fizz." This talent quickly propelled him to international prominence. He plays for Chennai Super Kings in IPL and is a left-arm fast-medium bowler.
Mohammad Obaid Kamal is an Indian former first-class cricketer who played for Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. He became a coach and worked as a selector for Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) after his playing career.
