Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson are American screenwriters and producers known for creating and executive producing the Showtime drama series Yellowjackets . [1]

Biography

Lyle was born in New Jersey and grew up in Belmar, New Jersey. [2] She graduated from Lawrenceville School and received her B.A. and MFA from Columbia University. [3] [4] [5] Nickerson hails from Monmouth County, New Jersey, having been raised in Middletown Township, New Jersey. [6] [2] The couple met on the East Coast and moved to Los Angeles in 2007 with the intention of becoming TV writers and landed their first job writing for The Originals. [7] [8]

Lyle and Nickerson also wrote for other TV shows such as Narcos and Dispatches from Elsewhere . [9]

In 2022, Lyle and Nickerson were nominated for the Writers Guild of America Award for Television: New Series and Writers Guild of America Award for Television: Dramatic Series for creating the Showtime series Yellowjackets. [10] In August 2022, they had signed an overall deal with Showtime. [11]

More recently, Cahn signed a multi-year overall deal with Netflix. Under the deal, she is serving as executive producer and showrunner on the political thriller drama series The Diplomat. Tawny Cypress is an American actress. She has appeared in various television and stage plays. She starred as art dealer Simone Deveaux on the TV series Heroes. She previously held roles on several TV series, including Fox's drama K-Ville as Ginger "Love Tap" LeBeau, Carly Heath on House of Cards, and Cherie Rollins-Murray on the second and third seasons of the CBS series Unforgettable. In 2019, Cypress starred as Inez in the film Inez & Doug & Kira. Since 2021, Cypress has starred as Taissa Turner on Showtime's Yellowjackets.
