Ashmith Kunder is an Indian film editor, film producer, and actor. He is best known for editing films, including Dasavatharam (2008), Shor in the City (2010), Matrubhoomi: A Nation Without Women (2003). He debuted as an actor in the Amazon Prime original series, The Family Man. [1] He became a producer with Babumoshai Bandookbaaz in 2017 starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He has also produced the film The Comedian, starring Satish Kaushik in his last title role.
Kunder was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is an engineer by education (B.E. Instrumentation) from Mumbai University. His brother is Shirish Kunder and his sister-in-law is Farah Khan. [2]
Kunder began his career in 2000 as an associate editor for the film Champion. He then went on to be an editor for several films including 88 Antop Hill (2003), Mumbai Xpress (2005), Ghatothkach (2008), Lamhaa (2010), and Charlie Kay Chakkar Mein (2015). He was also a screenwriter and wrote the script for Tees Maar Khan , which was directed by Farah Khan. [3] [4]
In 2017, Kunder collaborated with Kushan Nandy and produced a film called Babumoshai Bandookbaaz a film that showcases the life and times of a contract executioner, Babu, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. [5] [6]
Kunder was the lead actor in the Hindi feature film Agam, where he plays the character of an Aghori Tantrik. The film was selected for the 37th Cairo International Film Festival. [7] [8]

Farah Khan Kunder is an Indian film director, writer, film producer, actress, dancer and choreographer who works predominantly in Hindi films. Khan has choreographed more than a hundred songs in over 80 films, winning the National Film Award for Best Choreography and seven Filmfare Awards for Best Choreography.
Sohail Salim Abdul Rashid Khan is an Indian actor, writer, film director and producer who works mainly in Hindi cinema. He is the younger brother of actors Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan. He has an elder sister, Alvira Khan Agnihotri. He produces films under his banner Sohail Khan Productions.

Om Shanti Om is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language masala film written and directed by Farah Khan, co-written by Mayur Puri and Mushtaq Shiekh, and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. Spanning three decades, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan as Om Prakash Makhija, a poor junior film artist in 1977, who falls in love with a secretly-married film actress Shantipriya, portrayed by Deepika Padukone. Her husband and a film producer Mukesh Mehra, played by Arjun Rampal, betrays her and murders her in a fire. Om witnesses this and is severely injured while trying to rescue her, resulting in his death as well. Being reborn as rich superstar Om Kapoor in 2007, he sets out to seek revenge from Mukesh with the help of Shanti's doppelganger Sandy. Shreyas Talpade and Kirron Kher appear in the film as well and cameos from several Indian film celebrities are seen in several sequences and songs.

A remake of the 1966 Italian film After the Fox, whose story was adapted by Shirish, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Akshaye Khanna and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor make special appearances.

The film stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. This was the second film in which Sinha paired opposite Kumar after Rowdy Rathore (2012). The film released worldwide on 31 August 2012, and received mixed to negative response upon release. The film was declared a "Disaster" at box office. The trailer of the film revealed on 11 July 2012, and also in cinemas along with Cocktail.
Monsoon Shootout is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language neo-noir action thriller film written and directed by Amit Kumar and produced by Guneet Monga, Trevor Ingma, Martijn de Grunt, and co-produced by Anurag Kashyap, and Vivek Rangachari, starring Vijay Varma, Geetanjali Thapa, Sreejita De, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tannishtha Chatterjee in the lead roles. The film received positive reviews at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival in the Official Midnight Screenings section. Belonging to the school of Parallel cinema, Monsoon Shootout was released worldwide four years later on 15 December 2017 to positive reviews.
Raees is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira Khan. Raees is said to be based on the criminal Abdul Latif's life, however, the filmmakers have denied this rumour.
Manjhi – The Mountain Man is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language biographical film based on the life of Dashrath Manjhi. Manjhi, widely known as the "Mountain Man", was a poor labourer in Gehlaur village, near Gaya in Bihar, India, who carved a path 9.1 metres (30 ft) wide and 110 metres (360 ft) long through a hill 7.6 metres (25 ft) high, using only a hammer and chisel. The film is directed by Ketan Mehta, jointly produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and NFDC India. Upon release the film received positive critical acclaim.
Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Kushan Nandy and produced by Kiran Shyam Shroff and Ashmith Kunder. The film features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bidita Bag in the lead roles. The movie did average business at the box office.
