The film grossed an estimated ₹ 3 lakh (US$3,600) at the box office, against a budget of ₹1.5 crore (US$180,000) and declared as "disaster" by boxofficeindia. [4] It earned ₹50,000 on first day, ₹1,50,000 on first weekend and a sum of ₹2,10,000 on its first week. [4]

Despite a poor opening, the film went on to become a sleeper hit. Its first installment in Fukrey franchise.
