The film grossed an estimated ₹ 3 lakh (US$3,800) at the box office, against a budget of ₹1.5 crore (US$190,000) and declared as "disaster" by boxofficeindia. [4] It earned ₹50,000 on first day, ₹1,50,000 on first weekend and a sum of ₹2,10,000 on its first week. [4]

The film takes place after the events of Ek Tha Tiger in which Tiger and Zoya come out of hiding to save nurses held hostage by a terrorist organisation called ISC in Iraq.
