Sage Publishing, formerly SAGE Publications, is an American independent academic publishing company, founded in 1965 in New York City by Sara Miller McCune and now based in the Newbury Park neighborhood of Thousand Oaks, California.

Contributions to Indian Sociology is a triannual peer-reviewed academic journal covering sociology with an emphasis on South Asian societies and cultures. It was established in 1957 by Louis Dumont and David Francis Pocock. It is published by Sage Publishing in association with the Institute of Economic Growth. The journal ceased publication in 1966. A new series commenced publication the next year at the initiative of Triloki Nath Madan, with volume numbering re-starting at 1. Published annually till 1974, it became a biannual publication in 1975. From 1999, it has been published thrice a year.

Kanwal Ameen is attached as Professor Emeritus at Institute of information management,of University of the Punjab, Pakistan where previously she had served in different capacities such as Chairperson (2009-2018) of the Department of Information Management, Chairperson of Doctoral Programme Coordination Committee (2013-2017), University of the Punjab, and as Director of External Linkages. Dr Ameen was the founding Vice-chancellor at the University of Home Economics (2019-2023). She is also serving as Vice Chair, Board of Governors of the Punjab Library Foundation (2023-2026). With a career spanning nearly four decades, she has made substantial contributions in teaching, research and academic leadership in Pakistan. Ameen has authored many publications and in internationally known scholar who has been honoured with several national and international awards, including the prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by the government of Pakistan for her contributions in Education. Dr. Ameen continues to contribute to the academic community through her research, mentorship of post-graduate students, and serving on editorial boards of international journals.

Thomas Clarke is a British and Australian Research Professor at the University of Technology Sydney. A life Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, he served as founder and Director of the UTS Centre for Corporate Governance Research Centre (2003–2016), and presently is Visiting Professor of the Institute for Public Policy and Governance (IPPG) at UTS, and editor of the IPPG Research Policy Papers. Previously he was Head of School of Management at UTS, Chair of UTS Academic Board 2009–2010 and a member of the UTS University Council during this period. He is Chair of the Academic Board of OIHE, a higher education institute based in Melbourne and Sydney.

Hubert Gatignon is an emeritus professor of marketing at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. According to Google Scholar, Gatignon has an i10-index of 63.

Kimberly Ann Eddleston is the Schulze Distinguished Professorof Entrepreneurship, and Professor of Entrepreneurship & Innovation at D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University. Her expertise on subjects related to family business management and small business management is quoted in US sources. She has received many academic awards by US institutions and is a leading editor of several academic journals.
