Squash, sometimes called squash rackets, is a racket sport played by two (singles) or four players (doubles) in a four-walled court with a small, hollow, rubber ball. The players alternate in striking the ball with their rackets onto the playable surfaces of the four walls of the court. The objective of the game is to hit the ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to play a valid return. There are about 20 million people who play squash regularly world-wide in over 185 countries. The governing body of squash, the World Squash Federation (WSF), is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and the sport will be included in the Olympic Games, starting with the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. The Professional Squash Association (PSA) organizes the pro tour.

Jahangir Khan is a former professional Pakistani squash player. He won the World Open title six times, and the British Open title ten times (1982–1991). Jahangir Khan is widely regarded as the greatest squash player of all time, and one of the greatest sportsmen in Pakistan history. From 1981 to 1986, Khan was unbeaten and during that time won 555 consecutive matches – the longest winning streak by any athlete in top-level professional sport as recorded by Guinness World Records.
Joshna Chinappa is an Indian professional squash player. She reached a career-high world ranking of #10 in 2016. She was the first Indian to win the British Junior Open in 2005.
Saurav Ghosal is an Indian former squash player. He reached a career-high ranking of World No. 10 in April 2019. He won the first ever squash medal for India, a bronze in the singles and mixed doubles at the Commonwealth Games.

Mohibullah Khan is a former world squash champion from Pakistan. He was one of the game's leading players in the 1970s, reaching a career-high ranking of World No. 2. He was runner-up at the inaugural World Open in 1976, and at the British Open in 1976, losing on both occasions to Australia's Geoff Hunt.

The 2011 Men's World Team Squash Championships is the men's edition of the 2011 World Team Squash Championships organized by the World Squash Federation, which serves as the world team championship for squash players. The event were held in Paderborn, Germany and took place from August 21 to August 27, 2011. The tournament was organized by the World Squash Federation and the German Squash Association. The Egypt team won his third World Team Championships beating the English team in the final.
The Squash Rackets Federation of India aka SRFI is the Indian governing body for the game of squash. It conducts the National Squash Championship, promotes the game through the state squash bodies, provides training facilities, selects the squad, and chooses coaches for the national team.

The event was held in Nîmes, France from November 12 to 17, 2012. The tournament was organized by the World Squash Federation and the French Squash Federation. The Egypt team won their second World Team Championships, beating the English team in the final.

The event were held in Odense, Denmark and took place from September 27 to October 3, 2009. The tournament was organized by the World Squash Federation and the Danish Squash Federation. The Egypt team won his second World Team Championships beating the French team in the final.
The FMC Asian Individual Squash Championships are the event which serves as the individual Asian championship for squash players organised by the Asian Squash Federation. The Asian Individual Championships was first held in 1981.
The Asian Team Championships are the international squash competition played between teams representing different nations organised by the Asian Squash Federation. Countries enter teams of three or four players to represent them in the championships. In each round of the competition, teams face each other in a best-of-three singles matches contest. Each competition is held once every two years since 1984, except for 2020 edition which was postponed to 2021 due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2007 Men's World Team Squash Championships is the men's edition of the 2007 World Team Squash Championships organized by the World Squash Federation, which serves as the world team championship for squash players. The event were held in Chennai, India and took place from 6–12 December 2007. The tournament was organized by the World Squash Federation and the Squash Rackets Federation of India. The England team won his fourth World Team Championships beating the Australian team in the final.
