The Asian Team Championships are the international squash competition played between teams representing different nations organised by the Asian Squash Federation. Countries enter teams of three or four players to represent them in the championships. In each round of the competition, teams face each other in a best-of-three singles matches contest. Each competition is held once every two years since 1984, except for 2020 edition which was postponed to 2021 due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The WSF World Team Squash Championships are an international squash competition organised by the World Squash Federation (WSF) and played between teams representing different nations. Countries enter teams of three or four players to represent them in the championships. In each round of the competition, teams face each other in a best-of-three singles matches contest. The competition is held once every two years, with the venue changing each time. Normally the men's and women's events are held in different years in two locations. Australia have won the championship a record eight times, followed by Pakistan, which have been champions on six occasions.

The World Racquetball Championships is the top international racquetball competition organized by the International Racquetball Federation (IRF).

Ravindu Laksiri is a Sri Lankan male professional squash player. He has represented Sri Lanka in several international squash competitions including the 2013 Men's Asian Individual Squash Championships, 2013 Asian Youth Games, 2016 South Asian Games,2019 South Asian Games,World Squash Doubles Championships,2018 Asian Games, 2014 Commonwealth Games and in the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Laksiri achieved his highest career ranking of 121 in 2023. He is the only player to have won the National title 10 times in a row. He also currently leads the Sri Lanka National Squash Team.

The Pakistan women's national squash team represents Pakistan in international squash competitions, and is administered by the Pakistan Squash Federation. Members of the team compete in singles, doubles and team events at competitions including continental and regional games and continental championships. It has participated in the Asian Squash Team Championships ; Asian Games (2018); Commonwealth Games (2018) and South Asian Games.
