Assault HOT Studio! (Totsugeki Hot Studio) is a variety program that was broadcast on the TBS network every Wednesday from 19:00 to 19:54 (Japan Standard Time) from April 20, 1983 to June 29, 1983.

Overview

The program featured artists such as Beat Takeshi and Tanokin Trio, and consisted of mini dramas, games, songs, and other sections. The color of the title logo is red for the "assault" part, orange for the "hot" part, and yellow for the "studio" part.

The members who appeared on this program continued to appear on the next program Laugh and Pon! .

The 2018 Okinawa gubernatorial election was held on 30 September 2018 to elect the next governor of Okinawa. As there are no term limits in Japan, incumbent Governor Takeshi Onaga was eligible for re-election before his death in August 2018. The election was originally scheduled to be held on 9 December 2018, but this was brought forward after Onaga's untimely death. Onaga's deputy, Kiichiro Jahana temporarily assumed his post for three days until being replaced as interim governor by Moritake Tomikawa. This was the first gubernatorial election in Okinawa since the voting age was lowered to 18.

Tanokin Trio (たのきんトリオ) was a Japanese group, composed of three Johnny's idols, Toshihiko Tahara (Toshi), Nomura Yoshio (Yoshi), Masahiko Kondo (Matchy). It was active for a short period in the early 1980s, they became icons among young people of their generation. All three appeared as students in the first series of Kinpachi-sensei.

Yoshio Nomura is a Japanese guitarist, music producer, narrator, former idol and actor. In the 80's, he was part of the idol group Tanokin Trio. He released a single called "kimagure ONE-WAY BOY" in 1983 as lead vocalist and guitarist of THE GOOD-BYE.
