Ballston is a neighborhood in Arlington County, Virginia. Located at the western end of the Rosslyn-Ballston corridor, Ballston is a major transportation hub, and boasts one of the nation's highest concentrations of scientific research agencies, including the Office of Naval Research, the Virginia Tech Advanced Research Institute, and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research.
Peachtree Street is one of several major streets running through the city of Atlanta. Beginning at Five Points in downtown Atlanta, it runs North through Midtown; a few blocks after entering into Buckhead, the name changes to Peachtree Road at Deering Road. Its total length is about 1.2 km. The street was formally renamed as Eleftherios Venizelos Avenue in 1945 but is still usually known by its historical name. It has six lanes, of which five are for traffic and one eastbound lane for transit buses only. Most of the street runs almost diagonally from southeast to northwest.

The road is 3 miles (4.8 km) long and stretches from U.S. Route 1 in the Eastchester section of the Bronx to the Major Deegan Expressway (I-87) in Woodlawn. The road changes names from East 233rd Street to Pinkley Avenue after the eastern terminus, at Boston Road. There is one interchange with a highway along the way, which is for the Bronx River Parkway.
