The MS Estonia was a cruiseferry built in 1980 for the Finnish company Rederi Ab Sally by Meyer Werft, in Papenburg, West Germany. She was employed on ferry routes between Finland and Sweden by various companies until 1993, when she was sold to Nordström & Thulin for use on Estline's Tallinn–Stockholm route. The ship's sinking on 28 September 1994, in the Baltic Sea between Sweden, Finland and Estonia, was one of the worst peacetime maritime disasters of the 20th century, claiming 852 lives.

The San Francisco International Film Festival, organized by the San Francisco Film Society, is held each spring for two weeks, presenting around 200 films from over 50 countries. The festival highlights current trends in international film and video production with an emphasis on work that has not yet secured U.S. distribution. In 2009, it served around 82,000 patrons, with screenings held in San Francisco and Berkeley.
Sandrew Metronome is a Scandinavian film distribution company formed in the 1990s. It was one of the biggest distributor companies in the Nordic countries. Sandrew Metronome was established by the Swedish company Sandrews and the Danish Metronome. Later the Norwegian media company Schibsted acquired Metronome and became joint owner with Sandrews. Schibsted gained sole ownership in 2006, but later divested its holdings of Sandrew Metronome to a group of investors and its former CEO in 2013.
SF Studios or is a Swedish film and television production and distribution company with headquarters in Stockholm and local offices in Oslo, Copenhagen, Helsinki and London. The studio is owned by Nordic media conglomerate, the Bonnier Group. The largest film studio in Sweden, it was established on 27 December 1919 as Aktiebolaget Svensk Filmindustri or Svensk Filmindustri (SF), and adopted its current name in 2016.
Astoria was a cinema in Stockholm, located on Nybrogatan, a street in the Östermalm district. When it closed, it was one of the last single screen cinemas in Stockholm. It was the flagship of the Astoria Cinemas chain which declared bankruptcy in 2007.
SF Anytime is a video on demand service owned by Bonnier available in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden and primarily offering movies. It was launched in 2002 and was then only available on the Internet. In January 2005, the service was launched on the IPTV platform Telia Digital-tv. Other IPTV distributors, such as Canal Digital, Bredbandsbolaget and FastTV soon followed.
MV Astoria is a ship that was constructed as the transatlantic ocean liner Stockholm for Swedish American Line, and rebuilt as a cruise ship in 1993. Ordered in 1944, and commenced service in 1948, at 73 years old, she is the oldest passenger liner still sailing in deep water routes. As Stockholm, she was best known for an accidental collision with Andrea Doria in July 1956, resulting in the sinking of the latter ship and 46 fatalities off the coast of Nantucket, Massachusetts, United States.
Filmstaden AB (formerly SF Bio AB ) is Sweden's largest cinema chain, and was founded in 1998 after Svensk Filmindustri was split into SF and SF Bio. The company is owned by the european group Odeon Cinemas Group, which has been owned by the world's largest cinema group, the American AMC Theatres since 2017.

Michelle Coleman is a Swedish competitive swimmer specialized in the sprint freestyle and backstroke events. She is the current Swedish national record holder in the 100 meter backstroke, and the 200 meter backstroke. She finished 7th in the 200 meter freestyle at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio and led off the Swedish silver medal winning 4 × 100 m medley relay team at the 2015 World Championships in Kazan.

Nordic Cinema Group is a Swedish company which owns 103 cinemas and 590 cinema saloons in six countries. It was founded in 2013 through a merger of Filmstaden in Sweden, Odeon Kino in Norway, Finnkino in Finland and Forum Cinemas in the Baltics. Between 2013 and 2017, it was owned by both Bridgepoint and Bonnier Group.
Odeon Kino is the largest cinema group in Norway with over 200 employees with cinemas in 10 cities. It is fully owned by AMC Theatres through Filmstaden AB.
Svenska Bio is a cinema company headquartered in Lidingö, Sweden. In the late 1980s, the company was formed from a merger between Fornstams Biografer and several cinemas owned by Svensk Filmindustri. In August 2007 the company bought two cinemas in Stockholm, called Victoria and Grand, from Astoria Cinemas. By doing so, they then owned 16% of the Swedish cinema market. They are the second biggest cinema chain in Sweden.
Eva Heléne Björklund is a Swedish social democratic politician who has been a member of the Riksdag since the 2018 general election. She takes up seat number 184 for Blekinge County's constituency but originally was seated on seat number 93. She is currently a member of the Committee on Defence.
