Astrid Jansen in de Wal, later surname Shrubb, [1] is a Dutch former competitive figure skater. She is a three-time Dutch national champion and competed at five ISU Championships.
Astrid Jansen in de Wal is a dual citizen of Canada and the Netherlands. [2] She is the sister of Canadian soccer player Steve Jansen. [3]
Early in her career, Jansen trained in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, [4] and at the Hamilton-Stoney Creek Skating Club in Hamilton, Ontario. [5] [6] Encouraged by a coach, Neil Carpenter, she decided to represent the Netherlands and moved to that country to train under Joan Haanappel. [2]
Jansen won the first of her three consecutive Dutch national titles in the 1977–78 season. [7] A competitor at five ISU Championships, she finished 17th at the 1978 Europeans in Strasbourg, France; 18th at the 1978 Worlds in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; 20th at the 1979 Europeans in Zagreb, Yugoslavia; 23rd at the 1979 Worlds in Vienna, Austria; and 18th at the 1980 Europeans in Gothenburg, Sweden.
After retiring from competition, Jansen became a skating coach with a focus on spins. She joined Yuna Kim's coaching team in 2007. [1] [8]

With ice dance partner Scott Moir, she is the 2010 and 2018 Olympic champion, the 2014 Olympic silver medallist, a three-time World champion, a three-time Four Continents champion, the 2016–17 Grand Prix Final champion, an eight-time Canadian National champion, the 2006 World Junior champion and the 2006 Junior Grand Prix gold medallists. Virtue and Moir are also the 2018 Olympic gold medallists in the team event and the 2014 Olympic silver medallists in the team event. Upon winning their third Olympic gold medal, they became the most decorated Canadian ice dance team of all time and the most decorated Olympic figure skaters of all time. Widely regarded as one of the greatest ice dance teams of all time, they are the only ice dancers in history to achieve a Super Slam, having won all major international competitions in their senior and junior careers. Tracy Wilson, is a Canadian former competitive ice dancer. With partner Rob McCall, she won the Canadian national championship seven times (1982–1988), is a three-time World bronze medallist, and the 1988 Olympic bronze medallist.

He is a 2018 Olympic gold medallist in the team event, 2014 Olympic silver medallist in the men's and team events, a three-time World champion, a two–time Grand Prix Final champion, a three-time Four Continents champion, and a ten-time Canadian national champion. He is known for his skating style which is highly appreciated for artistry and elegance. Patrick Chan is a recognized master of figure skating who has made a great contribution to this sport. Becoming a leader in his form and constantly improving from season to season, he has contributed greatly to the emergence of skaters who tried to keep balance, saturating their programs with both complex elements and components. He possesses a unique style of skating by using the edges of the blades, thereby achieving excellent skating skills.
Bruno Marcotte is a Canadian figure skating coach and former competitor in pairs. He is the 1993 World Junior bronze medallist with Isabelle Coulombe and the 2000 Nebelhorn Trophy champion with Valérie Marcoux.
Meagan Duhamel is a retired Canadian pair skater. With partner Eric Radford, she is a two-time world champion, a 2018 Olympic gold medallist in the team event, a 2014 Olympic silver medallist in the team event, a 2018 Olympic bronze medallist in the pairs event, a two-time Four Continents champion, the 2014–15 Grand Prix Final champion, and a seven-time Canadian national champion (2012–18).
Kevin Reynolds is a retired Canadian figure skater. He is the 2013 Four Continents champion, 2010 Four Continents bronze medallist, 2014 Winter Olympics team silver medallist and a six-time Canadian national medallist. His highest place at a World Championship is fifth, achieved at 2013 World Championships. On the junior level, he is the 2006 JGP Final bronze medallist.
Ana Cecilia Cantu Felix is a Mexican former competitive figure skater. She is a four-time national champion and competed at 9 ISU Championships. She is still to-date, the first and only Mexican female skater to qualify to the final segment at the World Figure Skating Championships, in 2009.

Kaetlyn Osmond is a retired competitive Canadian figure skater who competed in ladies' singles. A three-time Canadian national champion, Osmond competed internationally at the senior level from 2012 to 2018, winning three Olympic medals, two World Championship medals, and one Grand Prix Final medal (bronze).
Alaine Chartrand is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. She is the 2014 Rostelecom Cup bronze medallist, the 2016 CS Autumn Classic silver medallist, and a two-time Canadian national champion.
Haley Sales is a Canadian ice dancer. With her skating partner, Nikolas Wamsteeker, she is the 2020 Bavarian Open bronze medallist and 2018 Lake Placid Ice Dance International bronze medallist. The two placed 9th at the 2018 Four Continents Championships.
