Astronaut/Cosmonaut is a mural by the French street artist Ash in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin.
It was painted in 2007 and measures 22x14 m. It is one of the most famous murals in Berlin and is considered a landmark and tourist attraction in Kreuzberg. It was made using a large stencil. [1] [2]
Originally, at nights, the Astronaut/Cosmonaut held a moving flag in his hand: it was a shadow of an actual flag, cast from the parking lot of a car dealership across the street, which does not exist anymore.

Thierry Noir is a French artist and muralist based in Berlin. He is considered the first artist to paint the Berlin Wall in the 1980s. He created brightly-colored paintings across large spans of the Berlin Wall and some of these original paintings can still be seen on surviving segments of the Wall in art collections and on the East Side Gallery. Noir's work and style are now considered iconic, and Noir is also regarded as one of the forerunners of the street art movement as a whole. He continues to create murals worldwide in cities including London, Los Angeles, and Sydney.
The Oberbaum Bridge is a double-deck bridge crossing Berlin, Germany's River Spree, considered one of the city's landmarks. It links Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg, former boroughs that were divided by the Berlin Wall, and has become an important symbol of Berlin's unity.
Fallen Astronaut is a 3.5-inch (8.9 cm) aluminum sculpture created by Belgian artist Paul Van Hoeydonck. It is a stylized figure of an astronaut in a spacesuit, intended to commemorate the astronauts and cosmonauts who have died in the advancement of space exploration. It was commissioned and placed on the Moon by the crew of Apollo 15 at Hadley Rille on August 2, 1971, UTC, next to a plaque listing 14 names of those who had died up to that time. The statue lies on the ground among several footprints.
A mission patch is a cloth reproduction of a spaceflight mission emblem worn by astronauts and other personnel affiliated with that mission. It is usually executed as an embroidered patch. The term space patch is mostly applied to an emblem designed for a crewed space mission. Traditionally, the patch is worn on the space suit that astronauts and cosmonauts wear when launched into space. Mission patches have been adopted by the crew and personnel of many other space ventures, public and private.
Mehringplatz is a round plaza at the southern tip of the Friedrichstadt neighborhood of Kreuzberg district, Berlin. It marks the southern end of Friedrichstraße. Until 1970 both Lindenstraße and Wilhelmstrasse led into it. In 1947 it was renamed after the publicist Franz Mehring (1846–1919).

Soyuz TMA-11M was a 2013 flight to the International Space Station. It transported three members of the Expedition 38 crew to the International Space Station. TMA-11M is the 120th flight of a Soyuz spacecraft, with the first flight launching in 1967. The successful docking of the Soyuz TMA-11M spacecraft on November 7, 2013 marked the first time since October 2009 that nine people have resided on the space station without the presence of a Space Shuttle.

Frederick William III of Prussia initiated its construction and commissioned the Prussian Karl Friedrich Schinkel who made it an important piece of art in cast iron, his last piece of Romantic Neo-Gothic architecture and an expression of the post-Napoleonic poverty and material sobriety in the liberated countries.
The Ramones Museum is a museum dedicated to the American punk rock band the Ramones, which was formerly located in the Kreuzberg borough of Berlin, Germany and is now situated in the Friedrichshain district. While the Ramones are most closely associated with their hometown of New York City, bassist Dee Dee Ramone grew up in Berlin, and the city, and Germany as a whole, was mentioned in numerous Ramones songs.

The Tommy Weisbecker Haus is a housing co-operative and self-managed social centre based in an apartment block in Kreuzberg, Berlin, Germany. It was established in 1973 when young people squatted it as an autonomous youth homeless shelter. Quickly legalized, it became a housing project and signed a new 30-year lease in 2013.
Nadodrze is a district in Wrocław, Poland, separated in 1991 from a larger district, Ołbin, which now lies to the east of it. It also borders Kleczków to the north and the Old Town to the west. Nadodrze was incorporated into the city in 1808, after the demolition of the city fortifications.
