The Odia film industry,colloquially known as Ollywood,is the Odia language Indian film industry,based in Bhubaneshwar and Cuttack in Odisha,India. The name Ollywood is a portmanteau of the words Odia and Hollywood.

Sabyasachi Panda is a Naxalite-Maoist leader from India. He was wanted by the state police of several states in India for his involvement in criminal activities. He came into international news in 2012,for his alleged engineering of the kidnapping of two Italians nationals. He is also alleged to have involved and wanted in more than 50 criminal cases,including the murder of Swami Laxamananda Saraswati and four of his aides in Kandhamal district in 2008 that had triggered communal violence in the region. He was expelled by the CPI(Maoist) and then he floated a new party called the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist-Maoist). He was also wanted in the abduction case of two Italian tourists,who were released later in March 2012. On 18 July 2014 Odisha Police raided a Maoist hideout in Ganjam district on the basis of intelligence inputs and arrested Sabyasachi Panda from Berhampur. 45-year-old Sabyasachi Panda carried a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh on his head.

Pagala Premi was his first movie,for which he earned an Odisha State Film Awards for Best Actor. Sabyasachi got his second state award for Emiti Bi Prema Hue. He won the Filmfare Awards East as best actor for Mu Eka Tumara in 2013.

He studied Chemistry and graduated from Ravenshaw College with a master's degree. He became a lecturer for some time before joining the Communist party as a Political Worker. He served as Journalist in Soviet Information Department. He quit the Communist Party and contested as an Independent candidate in 1961 from Rajnagar assembly constituency and got elected. Joined Praja Socialist Party in April 1965. His son is a Professor and daughter is a former Member of the Parliament from Odisha. He recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji to demand prohibition across the country as per Mahatma Gandhi's wish where he said it would have been his first priority after India gained independence.
Rita Sahu is an Indian politician belonging to Biju Janata Dal. She was elected as a member of Odisha Legislative Assembly from Bijepur on 24 October 2019. Her husband was elected three times from Bijepur. Though her husband was an Indian National Congress politician,she is a Biju Janata Dal politician. After his death Sahu was elected as MLA of Bijepur on 28 February 2018 and served till 24 May 2019.
