The men's T37 200 metres competition of the athletics events at the 2015 Parapan American Games was held on August 14 at the CIBC Athletics Stadium. The defending Parapan American Games champion was Omar Monterola of Venezuela.^[1]

York Lions Stadium is an outdoor athletics facility on the campus of Toronto's York University. It is home to the York Lions, the athletic teams of York University. The facility was primarily built for the 2015 Pan-American and Parapan American Games, where it hosted track and field events. It also hosted the opening ceremony for the 2015 Parapan American Games. During the games the venue was known as the CIBC Pan Am and Parapan Am Athletics Stadium.

Omar Monterola is a Paralympian athlete from Venezuela competing in category T37 sprinting events. Monterola qualified for the 2012 Summer Paralympics in the 100m, 200m and 400m sprints. He qualified for the finals of all three, winning the bronze medal in the 200m event.
