Atichai Phoemsap is a Thai amateur boxer. As an amateur, he won the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics and 2018 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships.

Amateur career

Phoemsap represented Thailand in the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships and defeated Hungarian boxer Adrián Orbán to win the gold medal. Moreover, he competed in the 2018 Youth Olympics and defeated Ukrainian boxer Taras Bonarchuk in the final and won the gold medal.

Mangte Chungneijang Mary Kom is an Indian amateur boxer, politician, and former Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha. She is the only woman to win the World Amateur Boxing Championship six times, the only female boxer to have won a medal in each one of the first seven World Championships, and the only boxer to win eight World Championship medals. Nicknamed Magnificent Mary, she is the only Indian female boxer to have qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics, competing in the flyweight (51 kg) category and winning a bronze medal. She had also been ranked as the world's No. 1 female light-flyweight by the International Boxing Association (amateur) (AIBA). She became the first Indian female boxer to win a gold medal in the Asian Games in 2014 at Incheon, South Korea and is the first Indian female boxer to win gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. She is also the only boxer to become Asian Amateur Boxing Champion for a record six times. Mary Kom won the 51kg gold in President's Cup in Indonesia.

Shiva Thapa is an Indian boxer. He is employed with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. He is supported by Olympic Gold Quest and Anglian Medal Hunt Company, Shiva Thapa participated in the 2012 London Olympics, and was the youngest Indian boxer to qualify for the Olympics. Shiva Thapa is ranked 3rd in the bantamweight category in the AIBA Men's World Ranking. He is the third Indian to clinch gold at the Asian Games. Zareen won gold medal at the 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships, and became the fifth Indian woman to win a gold medal at the IBA World Boxing Championships. Zareen works as general banking officer at Bank of India since June 2021. She won gold medal at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Chen has competed in New Zealand, Taiwan, Australia, Junior World Championship in Russia and Commonwealth Youth Games in Bahamas. Somjit Jongjohor, the flyweight champion of the 2008 Summer Olympics, is his uncle.
