The Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Soccer Coach of the Year is an annual award given to the best head coach in the Atlantic Coast Conference during the NCAA Division I men's soccer season. The award has been given since 1975.
Notable winners of the award include: Bruce Arena (who later coached the United States men's soccer team and LA Galaxy), I. M. Ibrahim (who spent his entire coaching career with Clemson University), Anson Dorrance (who later simultaneously coached the University of Carolina's women's soccer team and the United States women's soccer team) and Jay Vidovich (who went on to coach Portland Timbers 2 for a season, before returning to collegiate soccer).
Vidovich has won the award the most times, with eight wins. [1]

Pittsburgh Panthers men's soccer is the NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's soccer team of the University of Pittsburgh, often referred to as "Pitt", located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Pitt men's soccer competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and plays their home games at Ambrose Urbanic Field in the university's Petersen Sports Complex. Pitt soccer players have had eight selections as All-Americans and multiple former Panthers have gone on to play professionally. The Panthers have appeared in seven NCAA tournaments and have reached the College Cup twice. The Panthers have been coached by Jay Vidovich since 2015.

Prior to 2004, the award had been known as the Men's Soccer Player of the Year, but in 2003 the award split into the Men's Offensive and Defensive Categories. The award has been given since 1970. Notable winners of the award include current and former professionals, Henry Gutierrez, Mike Fisher, Charlie Davies, Alejandro Bedoya, Kyle Martino and Jack Harrison. The ACC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year award is currently held by Matthew Roou, who won the award as a senior with Notre Dame, while the ACC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year award is currently held by Casper Svendby, who won the award as a junior with Pittsburgh.
