Professor Atul Tandan, acronym as PAT, [1] was an Indian management academic and corporate associate. [2]

Biography

Tandan was born in 1948 and studied BTech from IIT Bombay and MBA IIM Ahmedabad. In his career spanning four decades, he worked with Hindustan Lever Ltd., Cadbury (India) Ltd., Bajaj Electricals Ltd. and JL Morison (India) Ltd. [2] [3]

He was associated with management education since 1984 and joined full-time as academic in 1996. He also taught at several institutions in India, UK, France and Sri Lanka. He was also modelled for Lipton tea advertisement. He worked as a consultant and taught at SVKM's NMIMS, Mumbai as a Marketing Professor. [4] Later he served as Director of Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA) from March 2001 to March 2009. He was residing at Ahmedabad and spending half of his time in Ludhiana. He was the director for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management programme at PCTE Group of Institutes in Ludhiana. [1] [2] [5]

He died on 1 March 2015 in London due to a cardiac arrest. [1] [2]

Personal life

He was married to Priya and had a daughter - Karishma and a son - Samvit. [2]

Shiladitya Bora is an Indian film producer, director, marketer and distributor. He is the founder of Platoon One Films, a Mumbai-based film production studio. Bora was born and brought up in Assam and completed his undergraduate and post-graduate studies in Ahmedabad. He started his film career by spearheading the indie release banner PVR Pictures’ Directors’ Rare, a limited release arm of India’s biggest film exhibitor, PVR Cinemas group. Under this banner, he successfully released more than 85 independent films. In 2015, Bora was recognised for his work in marketing and distribution and was selected as one of the Berlinale Talents of the year. As the first CEO of Drishyam Films, Bora served as an Associate Producer on critically acclaimed films like Masaan (2015) and Newton (2017). He helped develop Newton from a one-line pitch to a story and greenlit the film to production. Newton went on to be selected as India’s official entry for the 90th Academy Awards. In 2017, Bora founded Platoon One Films, a Mumbai based production studio with his wife and costume designer Shilpi Agarwal. Platoon One Films’ maiden Hindi production Yours Truly, directed by Sanjoy Nag, starring Soni Razdan, Pankaj Tripathi and Aahana Kumra, premiered at the Busan International Film Festival 2018 and travelled to many festivals worldwide. Platoon One Films then went on to produce the National Award-Winning Marathi film Picasso, directed by Abhijeet Warang and starring Prasad Oak.

Pankaj Chandra is an Indian educationist, author and academic. He was Director of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, from 2007 to 2013 and since 2014 has been the Vice Chancellor and Chairman of the Board of Management of Ahmedabad University in Ahmedabad.

Debashis Chatterjee is an Indian management professor, author, and columnist.. He is the director of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. Chatterjee served as the director of the institute for two term. His first tenure was from 2009 to 2014. He returned again to the post in 2018.
