Sankt Augustin is a town in the Rhein-Sieg district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is named after the patron saint of the Divine Word Missionaries, Saint Augustine of Hippo (354-430). The Missionaries established a monastery near the current town centre in 1913. The municipality of Sankt Augustin was established in 1969, and on September 6, 1977 Sankt Augustin acquired town privileges. Sankt Augustin is situated about eight km north-east of Bonn and three km south-west of Siegburg.

Pakuashipi is an Innu community in the Canadian province of Quebec, located on the north shore of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence in the Côte-Nord region. It is not an Indian reserve, but an Indian settlement within the Municipality of Saint-Augustin, occupied by the Innu band of Pakua Shipi. Although they hold no formal legal title to the land at this time, negotiations are still ongoing to determine their indigenous rights.

Baroukh and Mouterde won the silver medal in the men's lightweight pair at the 2014 World Rowing Championships.
