Authentic Unlimited is an American bluegrass band. 2024 Members are Eli Johnston (banjo), Jerry Cole (bass), Stephen Burwell (fiddle), John Meader (guitar), and Jesse Brock (mandolin). [1]
The band formed in 2022. When veteran bluegrass band leader Doyle Lawson retired, three members of his band Quicksilver, Johnston, Burwell and Cole, got together with Brock and Meader to create the new band Authentic Unlimited. [2]
In 2023, Authentic Unlimited released two albums and performed at the Grand Ole Opry. [3] That year, they were named Vocal Group of the year by the International Bluegrass Music Association. [4]
In 2024, Authentic Unlimited received three awards at the International Bluegrass Music Awards. [5] [6]
Charles Samuel Bush is an American mandolinist who is considered an originator of progressive bluegrass music. In 2020, he was inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame as a member of New Grass Revival. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame a second time in 2023 as a solo artist.

Randall Franks is an American entertainer known for his work as a film and television actor, author, and bluegrass singer and musician. He plays various instruments including the fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and mountain dulcimer. Franks has received multiple nominations and awards throughout his career, including nominations for Inspirational Vocalist and Musician of the Year at the Josie Music Awards at the Grand Ole Opry House 2023 and 2024. He won Musician of the Year - Fiddle in 2024. He has been inducted into several halls of fame, such as the Tri-State Gospel Music Hall of Fame (2022), America's Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame (2019), and the Independent Country Music Hall of Fame (2013). The International Bluegrass Music Museum & Hall of Fame recognized Franks as a Bluegrass Legend in 2010. He has also received accolades from various regional organizations, including the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame Induction, Carolinas Country, Bluegrass and Gospel Hall of Fame Legend Award, Catoosa County, Georgia, which designated him as the "Appalachian Ambassador of the Fiddle" in 2004, and was inducted into the Chamber Business Person Hall of Fame In 2020, Franks was selected as the inaugural recipient of the AirPlay Direct Evolution Grant.
Bobby Van Osborne was an American bluegrass musician. He was the co-founder of the Osborne Brothers, a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame. Osborne was a member of the United States Marine Corps, received a Purple Heart for his service, and was honorably discharged in 1953.

The Whites are an American country music vocal group from Fort Worth, Texas, United States. They consist of sisters Sharon White and Cheryl White, and their father, Buck White. Sharon plays guitar, Cheryl is the bassist and Buck plays the mandolin. Formed in 1972, the trio has recorded multiple albums and charted multiple songs on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. They are also known as frequent collaborators of country and bluegrass musician Ricky Skaggs, who is Sharon's husband.
Wilma Lee Leary, known professionally as Wilma Lee Cooper, was an American country music entertainer. She was a guitarist, banjo player and vocalist, and was given the title of "First Lady of Bluegrass" by the Smithsonian Institution in 1974. In 1994 She was awarded the Distinguished Achievement Award from the IBMA. She was posthumously inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in 2023.

Steve Gulley was an American singer-songwriter of bluegrass music. He rose to prominence as a cast member at the Renfro Valley Barn Dance in Renfro Valley, Ky where he performed bluegrass, country and gospel music from the early 1980's through 1994. After hearing Steve at Renfro Valley, legendary bluegrass artist Doyle Lawson offered him a position as lead singer and guitarists in his band Quicksilver. He was with Quicksilver from 1994-1996. Steve went on to form and was a founding member and lead singer of award-winning bluegrass bands; Mountain Heart and Grasstowne. He was a multiple IBMA and SPBGMA award winner who was internationally known for his singing and songwriting in the bluegrass, traditional country and gospel genres. Steve later formed his own group named Steve Gulley & New Pinnacle, who released multiple bluegrass albums from year 2015 through 2020 until his death. Steve was sought after to cowrite or lend his vocals on multiple bluegrass projects, especially his longtime friend bluegrass recording artist Dale Ann Bradley. He recorded two singer/songwriter albums with his longtime writing partner Tim Stafford of super bluegrass group Blue Highway and was part of the Bluegrass Allstars band with award winning dobro player, the late Phil Leadbetter. Steve also sang harmony vocals on multiple tracks of the acclaimed "Sad Songs and Waltzes" album by the late country artist, Keith Whitley. Steve has a musical family. Steve's wife Debbie and his father Don Gulley were also performers on the historical Renfro Valley Barn Dance and Jamboree. Steve's son Brad Gulley was the lead singer and guitarist for bluegrass group Cumberland River. Steve contributed his love of music came from his father Don, who was a well-known artist, musician, and radio broadcaster in their hometown of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. Steve's most cherished accomplishments were performing on the Grand Ole Opry and when he received an honorary Doctor of Music from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee, only the fourth one given in that field in the school's history, The first given to a bluegrass musician by the university since Ralph Stanley received his in 1976.
Sister Sadie is an all-female American bluegrass, country, and folk band that formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2012. The band formed after the five original members Deanie Richardson, Tina Adair, Dale Ann Bradley, Gena Britt, and Beth Lawrence came together to play one show at the Station Inn in Nashville. They continued to play together as a band, eventually touring and releasing music. Since 2020, they have gone through a few lineup changes and the current band consists of: Deanie Richardson, Gena Britt, Jaelee Roberts, Dani Flowers, and Maddie Dalton.
