Avasi Grammar School is a school in Miskolc in the north east of Hungary. It is mostly a bilingual high school which is attended by about 800 pupils and more than 60 teaching staff. The name comes from the Avas Hill where the school is located. Avasi Grammar School was established in 1987.

It is commonly regarded as the symbol of the city, even though in the 1990s the bell tower of the Avas church was declared the city's symbol in its place.

Fitzmaurice Grammar School was a grammar school in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, England. The school opened as the County School in 1897 with financial support from Edmond Fitzmaurice, 1st Baron Fitzmaurice. It was renamed Fitzmaurice Grammar School in 1936 after the death of Lord Fitzmaurice. The grammar school was closed in 1980 and merged with Trinity secondary modern school to form the comprehensive school called St Laurence School.
