Avon Fields Golf Course is a historic golf course in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. [1]
The course was developed and run by the city until the late 1990s when Kemper Sports Management won the rights to run the city courses. In 2003, Billy Casper Golf took over the contract. [2]
Avon Field is located in North Avondale and borders Norwood. The course is the oldest municipal course west of the Alleghenies. City records cannot be found for the original course designer. The Donald Ross archival website lists Avon Fields as one of his designs. Others suggest it was designed by a member of the Spaulding family, later famous for sporting goods. While records show that renowned architect William Langford a revision of the design in 1925.
Avon is a par 66 18-hole golf course consisting of 12 par 4s and 6 par 3s and a full service driving range. The front and back nines were switched in the 1960s, when construction of the Norwood Lateral provided the impetus to reduce some of the steepest hills and to rework this vintage course

The golf course passes through a large neighborhood called Muirfield Village, which includes a 1999 bronze sculpture of Nicklaus mentoring a young golfer located in the wide median of Muirfield Drive.

Jackson Park is a 160.7-acre (0.650 km2) public park and golf course in north Seattle, Washington, occupying most of the space between N.E. 145th Street on the north, N.E. 130th Street on the south, 5th Avenue N.E. on the west, and 15th Avenue N.E. on the east. It opened to the public in 1928. Jackson Park has both a nine-hole par three course and a full eighteen-hole long course. It offers amenities such as a pro shop, cafe and bar, cart rentals, driving range, and putting practice greens. It underwent renovations in 2001 to allow Thornton Creek to flow through in a more environmentally beneficial way. This renovation added much water to the front nine and increased the difficulty significantly. The course also offers junior camps that run throughout the summer. The official course record is 62 and was set by amateur golfer, and former Seattle Mariners pitcher, Erik Hanson in the 2015 Seattle Amateur. Fellow amateur Vinnie Murphy equaled that score in the 2016 edition of the tournament.

Kenton County Golf Course is located at 3908 Richardson Road, Independence, KY 41051. It offers a 54-hole facility. All three of the courses cater for low handicapper players. The Pioneer is the shortest of the courses, playing to a par 71. As the name implies, The Pioneer was the first course built at the complex in 1968. The Pioneer course is 5,880 yards with a rating of 68.4, and a slope of 115. It is like most mid-western courses, slightly sloping on the front nine with increasing slopes on the back. The Willows, designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan, offers golfers a scenic and challenging test of tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. The Willows course plays to 6,697 yards from the championship tees and is rated 9th among Kentucky courses. It has a par of 72, the course rating is 72.6 and the slope is 137. Power carts are optional, and are permitted to cross at 90 degrees to the direction of play. Fox Run, designed by renowned architect Arthur Hills, is a distinctively different golf course which provides various blends of architectural style from hole to hole. On this nine you will find links type holes which somewhat resemble those of a typical Scottish golf course. There is a sampling of Carolina type holes with drastic changes in elevation from tee to green. Finally, there is a balance of more traditional mid-western style golf holes, all of which blend with the natural terrain and surrounding environment. There is an absence of housing and condo development within the course complex. This course is consistently rated one of the most challenging public courses in the State of Kentucky. Kenton County Golf Course also has a driving range and a clubhouse with a pro-shop, a bar, and a wide variety of food on offer.
