Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College,commonly known by its former name Madras Law College,is a law school,located in Chennai (Madras),Tamil Nadu,India. Noble College in Machilipatnam was founded by late Robert Turlington Noble,an English missionary,in 1843. Rev. He was previously the Acting Vice-Chancellor of BITS Pilani,and the Director of the Hyderabad Campus of the university. He was responsible for establishing BITS Hyderabad campus. He is an alumnus of BITS Pilani and had been associated with the university for more than four decades in various capacities. As director,he was regarded as being instrumental in the establishment of the Hyderabad Campus.
SRM University,Andhra Pradesh,also known as SRM University,Amaravati,is a state private university located near Neerukonda village in Mangalagiri mandal of Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh,India,in the area of the planned capital city Amaravati. The university was established in 2017 by the SRM Trust through the Andhra Pradesh Private Universities Act,2016. It offers undergraduate,postgraduate courses and Ph.D programmes in engineering,liberal arts and basic sciences.
The Andhra Pradesh Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of All Regions Act,2020 is an act of Andhra Pradesh Legislature aimed at the decentralisation of governance in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The bill was proposed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to establish three capitals at different places in the state namely Visakhapatnam,Amaravati,and Kurnool,which will serve as executive,legislative and judicial capitals respectively.
