On March 11, 2003 Russian president Vladimir Putin reorganized the Federal Agency for Government Communication and Information FAPSI from an independent service into the Service of Special Communications and Information (Spetsviaz) of the FSB. [1] On August 7, 2004, Spetsviaz was incorporated as a structural sub unit of the Federal Protective Service (FSO). [2]

The president of Russia, officially the president of the Russian Federation, is the head of state and de jure head of government of the Russian Federation, as well as the commander-in-chief of the Russian Armed Forces. It is the highest office in Russia.
The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation is the principal security agency of Russia and the main successor agency to the USSR's KGB. The State Award System of the Russian Federation has varied and distinct origins. The Presidential Band of the Moscow Kremlin Commandant's Service of the Federal Protective Service of the Russian Federation shortened to the Presidential Band of the Russian Federation is a special military unit that is the official military band for the President of Russia.
