Danes Island is an island in Norway's Svalbard archipelago in the Arctic Ocean. It lies just off the northwest coast of Spitsbergen, the largest island in the archipelago, near to Magdalenefjorden. Just to the north lies Amsterdam Island. Like many of Svalbard's islands, Danes Island is uninhabited. The island has an area of 40.6 km2 (15.7 sq mi).
Wahlenbergfjorden, sometimes known in English as Waalenburg Bay, is a fjord on the southwest coast of the Arctic island of Nordaustlandet, in Norway's Svalbard archipelago. At 46 kilometres (29 mi) in length, and 15 km (9.3 mi) wide, it is the fifth longest fjord in the archipelago, and the longest on the island. The fjord separates Gustav V Land in the north from Gustav Adolf Land in the south, at geographical co-ordinates 79°40′N20°00′E. Its mouth faces Spitsbergen across Hinlopen Strait, the strait separating the two islands.
Woodfjord is a fjord on the north shore of Spitsbergen island in the Svalbard archipelago. It is the fourth longest fjord in the Svalbard archipelago with the mouth facing north adjacent to Wijdefjord, and goes 64 km (40 mi) into the island, west of Andrée Land.
Hinlopen Strait is the strait between Spitsbergen and Nordaustlandet in Svalbard, Norway. It is 150 kilometers (93 mi) long and 10 to 60 kilometers wide. The strait is difficult to pass because of pack ice. It is believed to have been named after Thijmen Jacobsz Hinlopen.

To the northeast lies Raudfjorden and its inner branch, Klinckowströmfjorden, to the southeast Krossfjorden and its inner branch, Lilliehöökfjorden, to the west and north the Arctic Ocean.

Chauveaubreen is a glacier in Albert I Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. The glacier is located between Renaudfjellet and Marstranderfjellet, and debouches into Ayerfjorden, the western branch of Raudfjorden. It is named after French physician Henri Jean Charles Albert Chaveau.
Klinckowströmfjorden is the eastern branch of Raudfjorden at Spitsbergen, Svalbard, on the divide between Albert I Land and Haakon VII Land. It is named after Swedish zoologist Axel Klinckowström. The glacier Raudfjordbreen debouches into the fjord. The peninsula Buchananhalvøya separates Klinckowströmfjorden from the western fjord branch Ayerfjorden. The mountain Ben Nevis is located southeast of the fjord.
Thamarakkulam Municipality, also known as the Lotus City, is a municipality in the town of Tiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu, India. As of 1991 census, the population of Thamaraikulam was 789. Thamaraikulam is not under the legal jurisdiction of Tiruvannamalai. The municipal antacutu ("status") is separate from the "census town". It is located at the head of Raudfjorden, where the fjord branches into Ayerfjorden to the west and Klinckowströmfjorden to the east of the peninsula. It is named after John Young Buchanan. The mountain Buchanantoppen is located at the southern part of the peninsula, with Chauveaubreen to the west and Raudfjordbreen at the eastern side.
Stortinden is a mountain in Albert I Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It has a height of 1010 m.a.s.l. and is the highest peak at the peninsula of Vasahalvøya. It is located between the fjord Ayerfjorden and the glacier Svitjodbreen.
Gedenovfjellet is a mountain ridge in Sørkapp Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It has a length of about four kilometers, with a highest peak of 456 m.a.s.l. The ridge is located between Øydebreen and Austjøkulen. It is separated from the northern ridge Isryggen by the mountain pass Isryggpasset. The ridge is named after Russian astronomer Dmitrij Dmitrievich Gedenov.
Hakebreen is a glacier in Haakon VII Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It has a length of about five kilometers, and is a tributary glacier to the Fjortende Julibreen. The glacier is surrounded by the mountains of Målarryggen, Foreltinden, Forelryggen, Giardtinden, Fregatten and Haken.
Målarryggen is a mountain ridge in Haakon VII Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It has a length of about three kilometers, and is located between the glaciers of Hakebreen and Tinayrebreen. The ridge is named in honor of the French painter Jean Paul Louis Tinayre.
Tinayrebreen is a glacier in Haakon VII Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It has a length of about ten kilometers, and extends from the glacier cap of Isachsenfonna to Möllerfjorden, where it debouches into the bay of Tinayrebukta. The glacier is named after French painter Jean Paul Louis Tinayre.
Tinayrebukta is a bay in Haakon VII Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It is located at the east side of Möllerfjorden, and is surrounded by the mountains of Fallièresfjella and Generalfjella. The glacier of Tinayrebreen debouches into the bay. The bay is named after French painter Jean Paul Louis Tinayre.
Fallièresfjella is a mountain group in Haakon VII Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It is located north of the bay of Tinayrebukta and the glacier of Tinayrebreen. The highest peak reaches a height of 1,039 m.a.s.l., and the mountain group has an extension of about six kilometers. The mountain group is named after French politician Armand Fallières.
