Bhogavalli Venkata Sathyanarayana Prasad is an Indian film distributor and producer known for his works in Telugu cinema. [1] [2] He owns the film production companies, Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra (SVCC), earlier known as Sri Krishna Prasanna Enterprises, and SVCC Digital. [3] He has won two Filmfare Awards for Magadheera (2009) and Attarintiki Daredi (2013), as well as a SIIMA Award for the latter.

Film career

In 1984, Prasad was associated with film distribution alongside, film journalist, Pasupuleti Rama Rao. In 1986, he ventured into film production with Driver Babu , directed by Boyina Subba Rao and starring Sobhan Babu. [4]

The film's music and background score were composed by Devi Sri Prasad marking his immediate collaboration with Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas Individually. The soundtrack consists of 6 songs and a bit song all composed by Devi Sri Prasad and Ramajogayya Sastry, Sri Mani and himself penning the lyrics. The album's release coincided with a promotional audio launch function on 19 July 2013 at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad under high security arrangements on Aditya Music label.

Charan then starred in the blockbusters Rangasthalam (2018), winning his second Filmfare Award for Best Actor - Telugu, and RRR (2022), that collected over 1,387 crore (US$170 million).
