BMP Radio, also known as Border Media Partners, was a privately owned Hispanic focused radio broadcasting company headquartered in Houston, Texas. On July 17, 2009, Radio-Info.com announced that BMP would be seized by its banks after failing to make debt payments for two years. [1] Ten days later, it was confirmed that Goldman Sachs Group, Vestar Capital Partners, and D.B. Zwirn & Co. seized the business and the assets are expected to be liquidated. [2] It was reported that President Jeff Hinson was expected to step down by July 31. [2] This occurred as expected, and station owner and station broker Larry Patrick was named trustee and engaged to dispose of the stations and return any monies to the lenders.

During the 2009 Texas Association of Broadcasters meeting in Austin, Texas it was reported that the McAllen and Laredo area stations would be assigned to a U.S. affiliate of the companies that own the Mexican stations programmed by BMP; this happened in 2012 when the stations were sold to R Communications. The stations in Waco were sold to the Bill McCutcheon interests, while REO Radio Group acquired its stations in Austin.

In October 2013, the last of BMP, the cluster in San Antonio, was sold to Larry Wilson's L&L Broadcasting for $31M. [3]

It held radio, television broadcasting and publishing assets in several countries, primarily in Canada.

LIN Media

LIN Media was an American holding company founded in 1994 that operated 43 television stations. All except six were affiliates of the five major U.S. television networks. Five of the six remaining stations were affiliated with the syndication service MyNetworkTV and one was a low powered weather station in Indiana.

KTSA Radio station

KTSA is a commercial AM radio station in San Antonio, Texas. KTSA is owned by Alpha Media and airs a talk radio format. The studios, offices and three-tower transmitter are on Eisenhauer Road in San Antonio.

Emmis Communications American media conglomerate

Emmis Communications is an American media conglomerate based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Emmis, based on the Hebrew word for Truth, Emet was founded by Jeff Smulyan in 1980. Emmis has owned many radio stations, including KPWR and WQHT, which have notoriety for their Hip Hop Rhythmic format as well as WFAN, which was the world's first 24-hour sports talk radio station. In addition to radio, Emmis has invested in TV, publishing, and mobile operations around the United States.

KREV (FM) Radio station in Alameda, California

KREV, branded as 92.7 REV The Revolution, is a Top 40 music formatted radio station that serves the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Its city of license is Alameda, California, and it is under receivership by Patrick Communications. The station's studios are located in the Visitacion Valley district of San Francisco, and the transmitter is located on top of Bellaire Tower in the city's Russian Hill neighborhood.

Citadel Broadcasting American radio broadcasting company

Citadel Broadcasting Corporation was a Las Vegas, Nevada-based broadcast holding company. Citadel owned 243 radio stations across the United States and was the third-largest radio station owner in the country. Only iHeartMedia and Cumulus Media owned more stations prior to Citadel's merger with Cumulus.

KTXX-FM is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Bee Cave, Texas and serving the Greater Austin radio market. The station broadcasts a sports radio format and is owned by Genuine Austin Radio. KTXX-FM's transmitter is located on Route 71 on the west side of Austin. The station has studios along Loop 360 in Southwest Austin.

KZNX Radio station in Creedmoor, Texas

KZNX is an AM radio station, licensed to Creedmoor, Texas, and serving the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area. The station is under ownership of America Telecommunications Group, Inc. It airs a Spanish-language Christian radio format. Religious hosts pay the station a fee for airing their programs on KZNX, during which they may ask for donations to their ministry. The transmitter is off Dale Overton Road in the Thoroughbred Estates neighborhood of Del Valle, Texas.

KYLX-LD CBS/CW television affiliate in Laredo, Texas, United States

KYLX-LD, virtual and VHF digital channel 13, is a low-powered CBS-affiliated television station licensed to Laredo, Texas, United States. Owned by Gray Television, it is a sister station to NBC/ABC/Telemundo affiliate KGNS-TV. The two stations share studios on Del Mar Boulevard in northern Laredo; KYLX-LD's transmitter is located on Shea Street north of downtown. There is no separate website for KYLX-LD; instead, it is integrated with that of sister station KGNS-TV.

KTSN (AM) Radio station in Austin, Texas

KTSN is an AM radio station licensed to Austin, Texas. While KTSN is commercially licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), it is the flagship station of the non-commercial listener-supported "Sun Radio Network" and does not air advertisements. The station is owned by Daryl O'Neal, CEO of Township Media DBA The Sun Radio Network.
