X Factor is the Danish version of British TV show The X Factor, created by Simon Cowell. The show premiered on 4 January 2008. Martin Hoberg Hedegaard, also known as Saveus, is a Danish singer, songwriter and record producer. In 2016, he wrote and produced the EP Will Somebody Save Us and in 2018 he released his first full-length album, Neuro. The same year, he opened the Orange Stage at the Roskilde Festival.
Mohamed Ahmed Ali, also known by the mononym Mohamed, is a Danish singer. Ali was born in Nørresundby, Aalborg. In 2009, he took part in Season 2 of The X Factor, coming third after winner Linda Andrews and runners up Alien Beat Club. After the series, he signed a contract with Sony Music. On the occasion, Karina Foss Fenn of Sony Music Entertainment Denmark was quoted as saying: "It is rare that we in the music industry encounter a natural talent like Mohamed Ali. Both in his vocals and his physique, he oozes musicality – and his voice has both power and a sweetness that makes his rhythm quite unique." The music will no doubt to reflect Mohamed's personality". This contract resulted in a debut album Keep It Simple of 12 original songs and his single "Rocket" became one of the best downloaded songs.
Pernille Rosendahl is a Danish singer, songwriter, and producer known as a solo artist, the lead singer of the indie rock band Swan Lee, and the rock band The Storm. Since she was 19, Pernille Rosendahl has had an active career, initially as a backing vocalist and since 1997 as a self-releasing solo artist. In 2005, she was named 'Singer of the Year' at the Danish Music Awards and has composed music for films and theater, becoming a prominent voice in Danish cultural debates. Over three decades, she has been one of Denmark's most prominent female singers.
Noah Skaalum Jørgensen is a Danish singer who won the fourth season of the Danish version of The X Factor on 25 March 2011 at the age of 15. Assigned female at birth, Skaalum publicly came out as a trans man in 2018.
Lise Rønne is a Danish journalist and television presenter, best known in Denmark for presenting four seasons of X Factor as well as two seasons of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. She is best known outside Denmark for presenting the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014.

Emilie Anine Skovgaard Meng was a girl from Korsør, Denmark, who went missing in the early hours of 10 July 2016 from Korsør railway station after a night out with friends. Following a highly publicised search involving police and civilians, her body was discovered on 24 December 2016 in Regnemarks Bakke, Borup, Køge Municipality. A post-mortem examination determined that she had been strangled.

Kristian Kjærlund won the competition and Thomas Blachman became the winning mentor for the 3rd time and the 2nd judge to win 2 seasons in a row.

Kirkerup is a village in Slagelse Municipality in the Zealand Region of Denmark. It has a population of approximately 600 people and is situated on the western part of the island of Zealand. The village is the main village in the church district (sogn) of Kirkerup Sogn where the manor house Gyldenholm is located. The village lies three km from the town of Sørbymagle and 10 km from the main town of the municipality, Slagelse. In 2023, the town was the crime scene of a child abduction.
