François Kevorkian, also known by the stage name François K, is a French DJ, producer, remixer and label owner of Armenian descent and based in the United States of America, who started his career DJing in clubs such as the Paradise Garage and Studio 54. Kevorkian has produced and remixed work by a diverse range of musicians including the Smiths, Adam Ant, Kraftwerk, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Diana Ross, Gloria Estefan and U2, and is considered one of the forefathers of house music.

He has provided over 100 remixes for over 100 artists including U2, Moby, Happy Mondays, Madonna, Britney Spears, Massive Attack, the Cure, New Order, the Rolling Stones, the Stone Roses and Michael Jackson. "Traffic" is a track single which appeared in the album Just Be and Parade of the Athletes by Dutch DJ Tiësto. The track contains samples of Sean Deason's track "Psykofuk". When the album Just Be was released, his third single "Love Comes Again" was featured with it, "Traffic" turned into a B-side after having great success in Tiësto's concerts and having a music video made which was released in its original form as well as its radio edit version. It is the first instrumental track to reach the top spot in his homeland of the Netherlands in 23 years. Many DJs did remixes for "Traffic". The track is recorded at 136 BPM.

"I'm Ready" is a 2004 English language song by French pop singer Cherie from her self-titled album Cherie. The song sampled the bassline from Foreigner's song "Urgent". This was also used as the opening song for the 2004 film Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and it's included in its soundtrack, four months before being released as a single.
In Motion: The Remixes is the first official remix album by CCM recording artist Amy Grant. The album was released on August 19, 2014, by Capitol CMG and Sparrow Records. It contains dance remixes of seven best known songs from Grant, plus two remixes of "Stay for Awhile", a bonus track radio edit remix of "Out in the Open" and a medley mega mix all done by various DJs and engineers. "Baby Baby (2014)" featuring Dave Audé was released as the first single and reached number 3 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. Grant's first appearance on the dance chart was the "Baby Baby" remixes during the Heart in Motion period 23 years ago, peaking at number 23. With the exceptions of "Out in the Open" and the "Mega Mix", each song has their own remix EPs that were released the following month. The album debuted and peaked at number 110 on the Top 200 Albums chart, number 8 on the Top Christian Albums chart, and number 5 on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
