The Badakshshan national football team (also Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region national football team) is a national side that represents Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan in association football. The team is controlled by the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region Football Federation and Tajikistan Football Federation, the governing body for all football in GBAO. Badakhshan is not a member of the FIFA or the AFC, and does not participate in any of their international tournaments.
He is a candidate for accession to the NF-Board and ConIFA — international football organizations, which bring together football teams and federations unrecognized and partially recognized states, as well as the various autonomous regions within the recognized states and autonomous countries not included for various reasons, FIFA and the continental confederations. Attempts to create a team of Badakhshan football for the first time taken in the early 1990s, when the territory of Tajikistan's Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Republic there was a semi-independent Badakhshan Autonomous Republic (ARB). These attempts have not been successful due to the civil war in the country and the lack of finance. After the Civil War and the abolition of the ARB, the idea of creating a team of Badakhshan was also carried out a number of reasons, primarily because of lack of finance. In 2016 team of Badakhshan was finally organised, which held its first match on April 20 of that year (on this day in Tajikistan has a national holiday — Day of National Unity) against the youth team of the club in DushanbeIstiklol — one of the strongest clubs in Tajikistan. This match ended in a draw with the score 3:3. The match took place at the packed "Markaziy" stadium in Khorugh, which was attended by 15 thousand spectators. After this, they planned to hold matches against other clubs in Tajikistan and in the future to play friendly matches with the teams of the football organizations NF-Board and ConIFA, as well as join one of these organizations. While all this is not carried out and planned for the coming years.

The Northern Cyprus national football team represents Northern Cyprus, a de facto country, in association football. They were a member of the New Federations Board for non-FIFA-affiliated nations, until its dissolution in 2013. Northern Cyprus' home stadium is Nicosia Atatürk Stadium in North Nicosia and their head coach is Fırat Canova. In May 2014, it was announced that the team had officially become associated with the QSF and were working together to perhaps eventually become a member of CONCACAF and play against other national teams. Québec is not a member of FIFA or any confederation or subconfederation as they are wholly a part of Canada. However, Québec is an official member of the Confederation of Independent Football Associations (ConIFA), a global umbrella organization for national football teams outside FIFA. Usually in Québec, the majority of the population speak French, while English is the largest minority. Although the purpose of the team is said to be cultural, not political, the team is partially funded by the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Society and Parti Québécois, a Canadian political party that advocates the Québec sovereignty movement. The team was formed in 2013 and played its first match against a Tibet select team in the 2013 International Peoples, Cultures, and Tribes Tournament, an event hosted by Marseille as the 2013 European Capital of Culture, on 24 June 2013. Québec won the match 21–0. The team currently consists mostly of players from the Première Ligue de soccer du Québec and former Montreal Impact players. They are currently coached by former Canadian international Patrick Leduc.
The Cascadia national soccer team is a soccer team representing the men's side of the Cascadia region of the United States and Canada and is controlled by the Cascadia Association Football Federation (CAFF). The team is composed of players from the U.S states of Oregon, Washington and the Canadian province of British Columbia. The stated mission of the team is "...to allow Cascadia as a distinct cultural entity, isolated bioregion and growing society with common interests to be represented at the international level in the sport we are all passionate about." CAFF is a member of ConIFA. Cascadia is not a member of FIFA or any confederation or sub-confederation as the region is wholly a part of both the United States or Canada. However, CAFF is not opposed to those organizations and sees itself coexisting as a non-FIFA regional representative team.
The Nezatash Pass or Neza-Tash Pass is a mountain pass in the Sarikol Range between Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province in Tajikistan and Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County in Xinjiang, China. It is situated at an elevation of 4,476 metres (14,685 ft). The name of the path means "spear stone" in Kyrgyz as it is named after a rock near the location.
The Transnistria national football team is the national team of Transnistria, a de facto unrecognized state in Eastern Europe. They are not affiliated with FIFA or UEFA and therefore cannot compete for the FIFA World Cup or the UEFA European Championship. Transnistria became a member of CONIFA, an umbrella association for national teams not affiliated with FIFA, in 2015, but has since left the organization.
