By decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan of December 21, 2015, the Baku Transport Agency was established under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

“Aero Express” buses

Buses are designed to carry 48 passengers. The buses have a kitchenette, a luggage compartment, and access to the Internet.

Buses run from the metro station "28 May", making only one stop at the metro station "Koroglu", and then go to the airport, as well as in the opposite direction at intervals of 30 minutes. [3]

Training Center for Drivers

For those wishing to occupy vacant drivers' places, the "Training Center for Drivers" conducts theoretical and practical work on the professional activity and behavior of drivers, also on the specifics of additional work and rest. Candidates who have completed the courses are provided with work in the relevant carrier companies. To participate in the training, the following documents are required. [4]

When training drivers, the training center - Test & Training Azerbaijan - uses simulators. With the help of these simulators, the knowledge of drivers and candidates for drivers is checked and evaluated, in case of errors, under the supervision of a specialist, the driving skills are improved. After completing the test, the simulator issues a general assessment of driving based on which the driver is allowed to work or not.

Baku Metro is a rapid transit system serving Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. First opened on 6 November 1967 when Azerbaijan was part of the Soviet Union, its features are typical of former Soviet systems, including very deep central stations and exquisite decorations that blend traditional Azerbaijani national motifs with Soviet ideology. At present, the system has 40.7 kilometres (25.3 mi) of bidirectional tracks, made up of three lines served by 27 stations. Beer in Azerbaijan is typified by lighter lagers. Of the domestically produced beers, the most widely distributed is Xirdalan named after the city of Xırdalan in Azerbaijan, formerly brewed by Baki-Castel (BGI) but bought by Baltika in 2008. In February 2017 the company was renamed to Carlsberg Azerbaijan. As a sponsor of Baku's Eurovision Song Contest, Xirdalan issued special commemorative Eurovision cans and bottles in 2012. Other widespread, locally produced brands include Novxanı, NZS, Afsana and Annenfeld. Beer popularity continues to grow in Azerbaijan as of 2018 and there are plans to fully localize malt processing for beer production, with a new malt processing plant being planned to be launched in 2024. Unlike almost all CIS countries, the beer bottles in Azerbaijan are marked with an excise duty sticker.
