Baltimore magazine is a monthly magazine published in Baltimore, Maryland by Rosebud Entertainment L.L.C., a company owned by Steve Geppi and led by its President Michael Teitelbaum. It is the oldest, continuously published city magazine in the continental U.S. and was first printed in 1907 by the Baltimore Chamber of Commerce. In 1977, Philip Merrill's Capital-Gazette Communications purchased Baltimore from the Chamber; Merrill sold the magazine to a group of investors in 1992. [1] [2] Steve Geppi acquired Baltimore in 1994. [3] It is a member of the City and Regional Magazine Association (CRMA). [4]

In addition to the monthly print publication, Baltimore magazine publishes daily content on www.baltimoremagazine.com and produces over 20 events per year. Every publication and event serves the company's mission of inspiring Baltimore to discover more, do more, and be more.

Geppis Entertainment Museum

Geppi's Entertainment Museum was a 16,000-square-foot privately owned pop culture museum located at historic Camden Station at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland. The museum chronicled the history of pop culture in America from the 17th century to the early 21st century, as made popular in newspapers, magazines, comic books, movies, television, radio and video games. It featured a collection of nearly 60,000 pop culture artifacts, including magazines, movie posters, toys, buttons, badges, cereal boxes, trading cards, dolls, figurines, and other memorabilia. Geppi’s Entertainment Museum was located in downtown Baltimore's historic Camden Station at Camden Yards, directly above the former Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards and adjacent to Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Steve Geppi Comic book publisher

Stephen A. Geppi is an American comic book distributor, publisher and former comic store owner. Having established an early chain of comic shops in Baltimore in the mid-late 1970s, he is best known for his distributing business. Geppi founded Diamond Comic Distributors, the largest comic direct distribution service in 1982, and has served as the company's head to the present. Diamond Distribution became the successor to direct market pioneer Phil Seuling's distribution dream when Geppi took over New Media/Irjax's warehouses in 1982. He further bought out early-distributor Bud Plant in 1988, and main rival Capital City in 1996 to assume a near-monopoly on comics distribution, including exclusivity deals with the major comic book publishers.

<i>Cincinnati</i> (magazine)

Cincinnati magazine is a monthly lifestyle magazine concerning life in and about Cincinnati, Ohio. It was created by the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce in 1967. It was then purchased by CM Media in 1981. By 1997, the magazine had a circulation of some 30,000 and was acquired by Emmis Communications. During the early-mid-2000s, the magazine prospered, doubling both circulation and revenues and moving its facilities to Cincinnati's tallest building, Carew Tower. Hour Detroit is a monthly city magazine covering the Metro Detroit area. The magazine uses a glossy oversized format and features content on restaurants, arts and entertainment, and trends in fashion and décor. It began publication in 1996 and is a member of the City and Regional Magazine Association (CRMA). In addition to the print edition, it has a subscription service available for the iPad.
