Banda Thana is an administrative thana of Barisal. [1] The thana has a population of 88,385. [1] [2] It has an average literacy of 55.84%. [1]

Geography

Bandar Thana borders Kawnia Thana in the north, Bakerganj upazila in the south, Mehendiganj and Bhola Sadar upazilas in the east and Kotwali Model Thana, Barisal in the west. [1]
