Bangladesh Home Economics College is an constituent college [1] of the University of Dhaka, directed by the governing body of Dhaka University. The Faculty of Biological Science of the University of Dhaka directly monitors all academic activities of the college. It was founded in 1996. It is an all girls' college. [2] [1]

B.Sc: Admission test is conducted by Faculty of Biological Science of University of Dhaka. Students give separate admission test for Home Economics Unit. 550 students can get admitted each year for B.Sc. Course. [3] [4]

Upon the invitation of the then East Pakistan government after the partition of India, St. Gregory's College was founded on 3 November 1949, as an expanded iteration of St. Gregory's High School in Laxmibazar, Dhaka. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) is a public agricultural university in Bangladesh, established in 1998. It was the first Center of Excellence Graduate Agricultural Institute in Bangladesh emphasizing research and extension. It is located at South Salna, in Gazipur District. It is 9.5 kilometres (5.9 mi) from Gazipur Chowrasta, just east of the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway.
