The Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM) [1] [2] is a premier management Institute of Bangladesh. It was established in 1961 . Major activities of the institute are Executive Education, Mid-level Management training, Research and Consultancy. Main purpose of the institute is to provide Educational Services and Training for managerial development. Its headquarters is located at 4 Sobhanbag, Mirpur Road, Dhaka. Others campuses are located in Chattogram and Khulna, Bangladesh.

Textile schools in Bangladesh offer various academic and professional degrees in textile fields. A number of colleges and technical institutes as well as some universities offer diploma, bachelor's and master's degree from their allocated faculties upon completion of certification courses. Textile courses offered in these schools include spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing, finishing, apparels merchandising and fashion designing. As of 2019, textile material is the largest export item of Bangladesh. Bangladesh exported $42.35 billion worth of readymade garments in the 2018–2019 fiscal year.

The Bangladesh Technical Education Board is a state regulatory board responsible for monitoring and developing technical and vocational education in the secondary level (SSC), 2-year higher secondary level (HSC/Vocational), 4-year Diploma in Agriculture, 4-year Diploma in Engineering degree and 4-year Diploma in Medical Technology degree throughout the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The board sets the curriculum, develops learning materials, grants affiliation to technical and vocational institutions, governs admissions, conducts examination, and awards diploma certifications.

Central Training Institute, popularly known as CTI Jabalpur, is located in Nayagaon, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is an apex engineering and civil service training institute of the Madhya Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Ltd (MPPKVVCL), wholly owned by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The institute provides technical and managerial training to assistant engineers, junior engineers, accounts officers, HR managers, office assistants, line men, and testing assistants.

Bangladesh Institute of Glass and Ceramics (BIGC) is the oldest and only institute of its kind in Bangladesh. The establishment of the institute dates back to 11 March 1951 named as East Bengal Ceramics Institute. In 1960 the institute was renamed East Pakistan Institute of Glass and Ceramics (EPIGC). In 1971 Bangladesh emerged as an independent nation from Pakistan, the institute was again renamed as “Bangladesh Institute of Glass and Ceramics” in 1972. With the growing demands of Glass and Ceramics sector of mid-level technical manpower home and abroad three years Diploma in Ceramic Engineering was introduced in the year 1978 and Diploma in Glass Engineering was introduced in the year 2000. Duration of the Glass and Ceramic Engineering Course has changed to four years from the year 2000.
