Bangor Symphony Orchestra

The Bangor Symphony Orchestra is one of the oldest continually-operating professional orchestras in the United States. [1] Based in Bangor, Maine, it was founded in 1896 [1] by Abbie N. Garland [2] and Horace M. Pullen, its first director. [3] The present organization was incorporated in 1918. [4]
