Barbara Fest (born 6 July 1953) [1] is a retired American judoka. She medalled multiple times in the US National Championships. [1] She won a bronze medal at the 1980 World Judo Championships in the open weight division. [2] For a period she was coached by James Pedro Sr. [3]
The 2009 Maccabiah Games, the 18th incarnation of the Maccabiah Games, were held in July 2009. According to the organizing committee these were the largest games held yet. That year, she also won gold at the World Military Games. In 2016, she won the Pan American Judo Championships, having won silver in 2011 and 2015, and bronze medals in 2010 and 2012. Previously, she won a bronze medal in the 2009 World Junior Championships. She has appeared at two Olympics for Brazil.

Dorjsürengiin Sumiyaa is a Mongolian judoka. She competed in the 57 kg event at the 2012 Summer Olympics and lost in the first round. In 2015, she won her first World Championship medal, a bronze. In the 2016 Olympics she won a silver medal in the same event and a gold medal in the 2017 World Judo Championships in Budapest. In 2017 World Championships final, Dorjsürengiin defeated Tsukasa Yoshida who had beaten her in the Olympic final. In 2018, Dorjsürengiin won the bronze medal at the World Championships, after an unexpected loss in the semi finals to Nekoda Smythe-Davis.

He began his training at Devizes judo club before joining Team Bath's High-Performance Training Programme in 2003, aged 16. in 2006, following a gap year, in which he trained at Tokai University in Japan, he began a degree in Business Administration at the University of Bath. The same year, coached by Jurgan Klinger, he won bronze in the European -23 Judo Championships in Moscow.
Amy Kublin is a former competitive judoka for the United States. She won four gold medals in the US National Judo Championships.
