Barbara Leff (born May 14,1947) is an American politician who served in the Arizona House of Representatives from the 24th district from 1997 to 2003 and in the Arizona Senate from the 11th district from 2003 to 2011. [1] [2]

KNXV-TV is a television station in Phoenix,Arizona,United States,affiliated with ABC. It was established in 1979 as the Phoenix area's second independent station with part-time subscription television programming from ON TV. It was originally owned by the New Television Corporation,which had attempted to set up the station for nearly five years prior to its launch. In 1985,Scripps-Howard Broadcasting,the broadcast division of the E. W. Scripps Company,acquired KNXV-TV. Channel 15 affiliated with Fox in 1986 and became the leading independent in the market,one of Fox's strongest affiliates. In 1994,Fox announced a multi-city affiliation agreement with New World Communications which included Phoenix's then-CBS affiliate,KSAZ-TV,and mostly CBS affiliates in several other major markets. CBS expressed interest in affiliating with Scripps's ABC affiliates in other cities and Scripps used this as leverage to force ABC to move its Phoenix affiliation from market leader KTVK to KNXV-TV beginning in January 1995.

Los Arcos Mall was an enclosed shopping mall on the southeast corner of Scottsdale and McDowell roads in Scottsdale,Arizona. The mall,which operated from 1969 to 1999,featured a Spanish architectural motif and took its name from "The Arches" in Spanish. In the 1990s,the mall lost shoppers and both of its anchors,particularly to the Scottsdale Fashion Square center,which was closer to population growth in the city. The last anchor,Sears,left Los Arcos for Fashion Square in February 1999.

Paul Edward Johnson Jr. is an American politician from the state of Arizona. Johnson was the mayor of Phoenix from 1990 to 1994. Johnson grew up in Sunnyslope. Johnson was the Democratic nominee for Governor of Arizona in 1998,losing in a landslide to incumbent Governor Jane Dee Hull. He has since left the Democratic Party and became an independent.

He designed the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale,and Sun Devil Stadium at Arizona State University. In 1941,he began his career,which would extend to his retirement in 1985. His firm would continue designing buildings into the 1990s.
