Hayley Jane Lewis, OAM, is an Australian former competitive swimmer best known for winning five gold medals and one bronze medal at the 1990 Commonwealth Games as a 15-year-old.

Udo Poser is a German former swimmer. He competed at the 1968 and 1972 Summer Olympics and won a bronze medal in the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay in 1972 by swimming for the East Germany team in the preliminary round. He finished in fifth and sixth place in the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay in 1968 and in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay in 1972, respectively, whereas individually he failed to reach the finals in the 200 m and 400 m freestyle.
Paul Michael Hartloff is an American former competition swimmer who represented the United States at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec. Hartloff competed in the men's 1,500-meter freestyle event, but in a highly competitive year finished seventh in the final. After qualifying for the 1976 Olympics at the Olympic Trials in Long Beach, California, he set an Olympic record on July 19, 1976, in a qualifying heat for the 1,500-meter event at the 1976 Montreal Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, with a time of 15:20.74, but in a highly competitive year, his time was a full 14 seconds slower than American Olympic team mate Brian Goodell's recent standing world record of 15:06.66.
Beate Jasch is a retired German swimmer who won a silver medal at the 1974 European Aquatics Championships. She competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics in the 100 m and 200 m butterfly and 100 m and 4 × 100 m freestyle events and finished eighth in the relay. During her career she won four national titles in the 100 m (1976) and 200 m butterfly and 200 medley (1976).
Stephanie Ortwig is a retired German swimmer who won a gold medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay at the 1991 World Aquatics Championships. She also competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics and finished seventh in the 200 m, 400 m and 4 × 200 m freestyle events. Between 1988 and 1990 she won seven national titles in the 200–800 m freestyle disciplines. In 1988 she was selected as the German Junior Athlete of the Year.
Hans-Joachim "HaJo" Geisler is a retired German swimmer who won a gold and a bronze medal at the 1975 World Aquatics Championships. He also competed at the 1972 and 1976 Summer Olympics. In 1972 his team finished fourth in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay, 0.15 seconds short of a bronze medal. Between 1973 and 1978 he won eight national titles, including six in the 400 m individual medley event.
Grit Müller is a retired German swimmer who won a silver medal in the 800 m freestyle at the 1991 World Aquatics Championships and a bronze medal in the 400 m individual medley at the 1989 European Aquatics Championships. She also won six national titles in the 4×200 m relay (1988), 400 m freestyle (1991), 800 m freestyle (1990) and 400 m medley (1989–91).
Katherine Cadwallader Douglass is an American competitive swimmer. A versatile swimmer who competes in many events, Douglass won her first major international medal at the 2020 Olympic Games. She won three medals at the 2022 World Championships. Douglass then won six medals, including two golds, at the 2023 World Championships. At the 2024 World Championships, she won five medals, including two golds. Douglass won four medals, including two golds, at the 2024 Olympic Games; she became the Olympic champion in the 200 m breaststroke.

Noted for her strength in medley and butterfly events, she is the current world record holder in the 400 metre individual medley, and also holds the Olympic and textile records in the 200 metre butterfly event, and the Olympic record in the 200 metre individual medley.
