Barkley (formerly Barkley Evergreen & Partners), founded in 1964, is a Kansas City, Missouri, United States, based full-service advertising agency known for their work on Sonic Drive-In Restaurants [ citation needed ], [1] Planet Fitness, [2] and Dairy Queen. [2] Barkley is the largest independent advertising agency in Kansas City, and the seventh-largest independent advertising agency in the U.S. [3]

Acquisitions

Barkley acquired Pittsburgh-based Ripple Effects Interactive in March 2008. Ripple was rebranded BarkleyREI. [5]

Barkley announced the acquisition of Callahan, a Lawrence-based ad agency. [6] In September that same year, Keystone Capital, Inc. announced its investment in Barkley, the Kansas City metro area’s third-largest advertising agency. [7]

In early 2024, Barkley merged with OKRP to become BarkleyOKRP. [8] [9]
