Ronald Dayne is a former professional American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons. Dayne played college football for the University of Wisconsin and won the 1999 Heisman Trophy. He was a first round pick of the New York Giants in the 2000 NFL Draft and also played for the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans.
Barry Lee Alvarez is a former American football coach and athletic director at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Darrell Wayne Bevell is an American football coach, who currently serves as the pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach of the Miami Dolphins. He previously served as offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings from 2006 to 2010, the Seattle Seahawks from 2011 to 2017, the Detroit Lions in 2019 and for the first 11 games of the 2020 season before being named the interim head coach for the remainder of the Lions season, and the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021. Jeral Jamal Stokes is a former American football wide receiver. Stokes played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He played college football for the UCLA Bruins, and was recognized as a unanimous All-American. A first-round selection in the 1995 NFL Draft, drafted by the San Francisco 49ers, he played professionally for the San Francisco 49ers, Jacksonville Jaguars and New England Patriots of the NFL.
Hugh Vernon "Pat" Richter is the former University of Wisconsin–Madison athletic director and American football player. He was responsible for hiring Barry Alvarez from Notre Dame in 1990 as head football coach, restoring the Badgers football program to national prominence. He also hired basketball coaches Dick Bennett and Bo Ryan, both of whom reached the "Final Four" of the NCAA Tournament.

Thomas Allen Burke is a former American college and professional football player who was a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for four seasons. He played college football at University of Wisconsin and earned All-American honors. During the 1997-98 season, Burke led all college football with 22 sacks and 31 total tackles for loss while helping Wisconsin to a Rose Bowl victory and #5 overall ranking. He was chosen 83rd overall in the 3rd round of the 1999 draft NFL draft by the Arizona Cardinals and played all four years of his NFL career with Arizona.
Ronald Vander Kelen was an American football quarterback. He played at the collegiate level at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is best known for his MVP performance in the 1963 Rose Bowl, where he broke several Rose Bowl records, some of which still stand. In that game, he orchestrated a legendary fourth quarter comeback attempt against the USC Trojans in the first #1 (USC) versus #2 (Wisconsin) bowl game in college football history. Vander Kelen was inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame in 1991.
The 1962 Wisconsin Badgers football team represented the University of Wisconsin in the 1962 NCAA University Division football season. Wisconsin was the Big Ten Conference champion and was ranked second in both final major polls, released in early December. This remains the highest season-ending ranking in program history.
Kevin Zeitler is an American football guard for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and earned consensus All-American honors. He was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft and he has also played for the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants.
Ryan Ramczyk is an American football offensive tackle for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Wisconsin, and was drafted by the Saints in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. A native of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Ramczyk attended four different schools before transferring to Wisconsin–Madison in 2014, where he became an All-American lineman for the Badgers in the 2016 season.
