Bash Fahad Mutumba, is a Ugandan photographer, poet and digital content creator. [3] [4] He is best known for his sensual type of photography. [5] [6] Mutumba started his journey of professional photography at Galaxy FM, Kampala; before specializing in boudoir photography. [7]

Early life and education background

He grew up in Kampala. [8] He graduated with a Bachelor in Commerce from Makerere University in 2020. [9]

Career

Mutumba has served as a digital content creator for Campus Bee Uganda, Galaxy FM, MTN Uganda, DFCU bank, Nile Breweries, Coca-Cola in form of articles and photography. [1]

He worked as an apprentice in photography, videography and a voiceover works at Galaxy FM. [5] [6] [8] Mutumba's work has appeared in various magazines both in Uganda and internationally. [10] In 2016, started poetry and took part in Babishai Niwe Poetry Foundation 2017 [11] [12] In March 2021, Mutumba signed a book deal with Kitara Nation to publish his poetry collection. He mentions Oscar Ntege as his inspiration. [13]

Beverley Nambozo Nsengiyunva is a Ugandan writer, poet, actress, literary activist, and biographer. She is the founder of the Babishai Niwe (BN) Poetry Foundation formerly The Beverley Nambozo Poetry Award for Ugandan women, which began in 2008 as a platform for promoting poetry. It has since grown to include all African poets and runs as an annual poetry award. In 2014, the award will extend to the entire continent, targeting both men and women. The same year, the foundation will also publish an anthology of poetry from poets of Africa. She is also the founder of the Babishai Niwe Women's Leadership Academy. Nambozo joined the Crossing Borders Scheme British Council Uganda in 2003 under the short stories genre. She was nominated for the August 2009 Arts Press Association (APA) Awards for revitalising poetry in Uganda after initiating the Beverley Nambozo Poetry Award, the first poetry award for Ugandan women.

General Wilson Mbasu Mbadi is a senior military officer in the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF) and the Minister of State for trade, industry and cooperatives. He served as the Chief of Defense Forces, the highest position in Uganda's military from June 2021 until March 2024 having replaced General David Muhoozi, who was appointed State Minister of Internal Affairs.

Leopold Eric Kyanda, is a Major General in the Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF). He currently serves as the Joint Chief of Staff of the UPDF, effective 24 June 2021. He replaced Lieutenant General Joseph Musanyufu who was redeployed to the civil service.

Major General Richard Prit Olum, commonly known as Dick Olum, is a military officer in the Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF), who serves as the Ugandan commander of the UPDF forces in the Democratic Republic of the Congo under the joint Uganda/DRC mission code named Operation Shujaa. He also serves as the commander of the UPDF Mountain Division, based in Fort Portal, Kabarole District at the base of the Rwenzori Mountains. His appointment was made on 12 October 2022.

Flavia Tumusiime is a Ugandan actress, radio and television host, voice-over artist, emcee and author of 30 Days of Flavia. She presents a mid-morning radio show on 91.3 Capital FM radio in Kampala, a former co-host of Morning @ NTV on NTV Uganda where she also doubles as a news anchor on NTV Tonight news and is a VJ for Channel O. She played the role of Kamali Tenywa in Nana Kagga's television series, Beneath The Lies - The Series from 2014 to 2016 and has co-hosted the Guinness Football Challenge.

Evelyn Anite Kajik, commonly known as Evelyn Anite, is a Ugandan journalist and politician. She is the State Minister of Finance for Investment and Privatization in the Ugandan Cabinet since 6 June 2016. Previously, she served as State Minister for Youth. She was appointed to that position on 1 March 2015, replacing Ronald Kibuule, who was appointed State Minister for Water Resources. She also served as the elected Member of Parliament for Koboko Municipality, in the West Nile sub-region, in the Northern Region of Uganda, a position she occupied from 2011 until 2021. The Equity Partners are the Government of the Republic of Uganda represented by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Office of the President holding 96% of the initial stock and Makerere University holding 4%.

Jackie (Jackline) Nake Lumbasi is a Kenyan media personality currently working in Kigali, Rwanda. She co-hosted the Big Breakfast Show on 91.3 Capital FM from 2008 to 2018 with a number of presenters including Gaetano Kagwa, Ramesh Gabalsing, Alan Kasujja, Marcus Kwikiriza and Oulanya as well as read the evening news on UBC in Uganda until 2014.

Cleopatra Koheirwe is a Ugandan actress, writer, singer, and media personality. She has garnered numerous roles on different film and television projects locally and internationally.

Mustafa Kizza is a Ugandan footballer who plays for Kampala Capital City Authority FC and the Uganda national team as left back.

James Rwehabura Tumusiime is a Ugandan author, journalist, and entrepreneur. He was born in 1950 in Rugando in Mbarara District. He is mostly known for spearheading the founding of The New Vision in 1986, Fountain Publishers in 1988, the National Book Trust of Uganda (NABOTU) in 1997, 100.2 Fm Radio West in 1998, and Igongo Cultural Centre in 2008. He was the author of what makes Africans Laugh. He has served on several international boards, including African Publishers Network (APNET), the o (AABC) and the International Board of Books for Young People (IBBY). He served as Chairman of Council of Mbarara University of Science and Technology and chairman of the Uganda Tourism Board.

Ssendi Mosh Afrikan, popularly known by his stage name Mr Mosh Live, is a Ugandan radio and television personality, events MC, media coach, social activist and politician.
