Bastiano Ferrari (born July 9 in Milan, Italy) is an Italian-American actor, [1] film producer, [1] entrepreneur, and philanthropist. [1] He is best known for his portrayal of Kamran Hasanova in the digital drama The Bay , [2] [1] as well as for his work as a producer on independent and mainstream film projects. In addition to his work in entertainment, Ferrari is also involved in business and technology sectors. [1] [3]
Ferrari was born in Milan, Italy, to Moshe, an entrepreneur, and Helany (also known as Helen), a financial advisor. He spent parts of his childhood and adolescence in Italy, the Middle East, Africa, and Spain before relocating to the United States. [3]
He studied Computer Science at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in General Management from the W. P. Carey School of Business. He later pursued a second MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and also completed business strategy studies at Harvard University. [3]
Before establishing himself in the entertainment industry, Ferrari co-founded a technology startup that was reportedly acquired in 2013. Over the years, he has advised major companies, including Disney, Apple, and Carnival Cruise Lines. He has founded Stage Infinity, California Bear, [2] and SMI, focusing on sectors ranging from media to consumer products. [4]
Ferrari began his acting career in theater before transitioning to film and television. He gained significant attention for his role as Kamran Hasanova in The Bay, a digital drama series that received multiple Daytime Emmy Awards. His other screen credits include Bad Boys for Life (2020), [5] Holiday Twist (2024), [6] and Miami Nights (2025), [2] in which he plays the lead role of Fabrizio. He has also appeared in the Middle Eastern television show B-Live, [7] following his discovery by director Nancy Farmenian in 2010. [2]
His collaborations have included work with actors such as Jenna Ortega, Terrence Howard, Eric Roberts, and Dove Cameron. [8] He produced the film Love Me Dead, [9] and is also involved in upcoming projects like Boris Is Dead and The Change-Up Kid. [3]

He was involved in a women's entrepreneurship program in Chad, reportedly in collaboration with ExxonMobil, which supported training for over 700 women in starting microbusinesses.
