Bayonets of Angst is a musical comedy about the American Civil War written by Rick Kunzi and Adam Barnosky. [1]
In 2013, Bayonets of Angst was a finalist in the Ken Davenport Ten Minute Play Contest. [2]
The premiere production of Bayonets of Angst was part of the 2014 New York Musical Theatre Festival and starred Tony Award nominee J. Robert Spencer, as Abraham Lincoln. [3] [4] The NYMF production also featured Paul Whitty ("Once"), Herndon Lackey ("LoveMusik"), Brian Charles Rooney ("The Threepenny Opera"), Michael Abbott Jr. (Shotgun Stories), Ian Lowe ("Murder for Two") and Ryan Andes ("Big Fish"). David Clark of Broadway World called Bayonets of Angst "entirely fresh and novel ... featuring a waggishly witty book, hysterical lyrics and a brilliantly catchy bluegrass score," and "simultaneously everything and nothing you'd expect from a musicalizied account of the Civil War." [7] Broadway Spotted reviewed that the show was "full of jokes, puns, play on words and everything in between," and "with non-stop laughter and beautiful music, it truly was an enjoyable time." [8] Theater Mania called Bayonets of Angst "[an] irreverent and hyper theatrical production," with "a jaunty bluegrass score performed by the first-rate musicians." [9]
CHARGED.fm listed Bayonets of Angst as a "Hot New Musical" and described it as an "exciting production that we think you should see." [10]

Altar Boyz is a musical comedy with music and lyrics by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker and book by Kevin Del Aguila. Centering on a fictitious Christian boy band from Ohio, the show satirizes, among other things, the phenomenon of boy bands and the popularity of Christian-themed music in contemporary American culture. The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) was an annual three-week summer festival that operated from 2004 to 2019. It presented more than 30 new musicals a year in New York City's midtown theater district. More than half were chosen by leading theater artists and producers through an open-submission, double-blind evaluation process. The remaining shows were invited to participate by the Festival's artist staff. The festival premiered over 447 musicals, which featured the work of over 8,000 artists and were attended by more than 300,000 people. More than 100 NYMF shows went on to further productions. By NYMF's count, alumni productions have been produced in all 50 US states and in 27 countries, and have been seen by roughly four million people. Over 20 NYMF shows have had cast albums recorded.

Linda Good is an American musician, composer, writer, songwriter and producer. She is co-founder, with her twin sister Laura, of the alternative pop band The Twigs. Good has also toured as a keyboardist with Jane's Addiction (2001),The Mars Volta (2002), the Lisa Marie Presley Band (2002–2006) and Bitter:Sweet (2007–2008). She has been based out of Los Angeles since 2000.
