Converse, a senior partner in the Baldwin Locomotive Works, and is a mirror image of the Dr. Edward H. Williams House next door. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 14, 1983, then listed at 504 Atlantic Avenue. It is also a contributing property of the Beach Haven Historic District.
