The Bears Lagoon Serpentine Football Club is an Australian Rules Football club which competes in the LVFL in Victoria, Australia.
The club, known as the Bears Lagoon Serpentine Bears, represents the localities of Bears Lagoon and Serpentine and has participated in the LVFL since 1945.
The Bears have appeared in many grand finals, winning twelve; the most recent in 1995.
BLS has won twelve premierships in the LVFL and is the third most successful team in the league by premierships however hasn't has success since 1995. The team also finished as wooden spooners at the end of the 2016 season.
Because of the small sized football league rivalries are few and far between and most teams aren't overly aggressive towards each other, however BLS's main rivals are Bridgewater, Newbridge & Pyramid Hill.

The Fitzroy Football Club is an Australian rules football club currently competing in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA). Formed in 1883 to represent the inner-Melbourne municipality of Fitzroy, the club is based at the W. T. Peterson Community Oval in Fitzroy North. The club nickname is the Roys, having previously been the Maroons, Gorillas (1938–1957) and Lions (1957–1996). Since 1975, the club's colours have been red, blue and gold.

The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Sydney's Northern Beaches. They compete in Australia's premier rugby league competition, the National Rugby League (NRL). Clive Bernard Churchill AM was an Australian professional rugby league footballer and coach in the mid-20th century. An Australian international and New South Wales and Queensland interstate representative fullback, he played the majority of his club football with and later coached the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Retiring as the most capped Australian Kangaroos player ever, Churchill is thus considered one of the game's greatest ever players and the prestigious Clive Churchill Medal for man-of-the-match in the NRL grand final bears his name. The 1995 AFL Grand Final was an Australian rules football game contested between the Geelong Football Club and Carlton Football Club, held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne on 30 September 1995. It was the 99th annual grand final of the Australian Football League, staged to determine the premiers for the 1995 AFL season. The match was attended by 93,670 spectators. The 1995 grand final was won by Carlton by a margin of 61 points. It was Carlton's 16th premiership and most recent victory, making it one of the most successful clubs in the league's history. The game also marked Carlton's sixteenth consecutive win and twenty-third win for the year overall, then a record.
