The Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox are a summer collegiate wood-bat baseball club based in Marysville, California, in the United States, that began as an independent professional team in 1995. They play their home games at Hard Rock Park, formerly known as Bryant Field, adjacent to Ellis Lake, in Marysville. The team name was changed to the Marysville Gold Sox in 2010 to more particularly identify the city in which the team is located, but have since reverted to "Yuba-Sutter".
The Quebec Bulldogs were a men's senior-level ice hockey team based in Quebec City. The team was officially known as the Quebec Hockey Club, and later as the Quebec Athletic Club. One of the first organized ice hockey clubs, the club debuted in 1878 with the opening of the Quebec Skating Rink. The club continued as an amateur team through various leagues, eventually becoming professional in 1908. The club would play in the National Hockey Association and the National Hockey League. In 1920, the team moved to Hamilton, Ontario and became the Hamilton Tigers.
The Forest City Owls are a baseball team in the Coastal Plain League, a collegiate summer baseball league. The team played its inaugural 2008 season in Forest City, North Carolina after the same franchise, owned by Ken Silver, moved from Spartanburg, South Carolina in the offseason. The Owls play their home games at McNair Field, a new baseball stadium constructed near downtown Forest City by the municipal government utilizing town funds, private contributions, and more than $1 million in donations from Robert C. McNair, a Forest City native and owner of the NFL Houston Texans. The Owls won their home debut on Thursday, May 29, 2008, by a score of 4–2 over the Gastonia Grizzlies before 2,675 fans. McNair threw out the first pitch, and the Owls turned an ever-rare triple play in the top of the 6th inning.

The Florida Collegiate Summer League (FCSL) is a six-team wood bat collegiate summer baseball league located in the Central Florida region of the southeastern United States. The league was founded in the fall of 2003 and began play in the summer of 2004. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to "advance college players toward their futures in professional baseball." 360 players have been drafted in the first thirteen seasons including 33 in the 2016 MLB Draft. FCSL has had 16 alumni play in Major League Baseball, including New York Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom, Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy, Miami Marlins second baseman Dee Gordon, Colorado Rockies pitcher Mike McClendon, Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jimmy Nelson, and San Francisco Giants pitcher Chris Heston. The FCSL is one of twelve leagues in the National Alliance of College Summer Baseball.
The Prospect League is a collegiate summer baseball league comprising teams of college players from North America and beyond. All players in the league must have NCAA eligibility remaining in order to participate. So as to maintain their college eligibility, players are not paid. Beginning in 2012, the league added four games to the season, making a total of 60 games per team. This is to emphasize that they represent the wider metropolitan area and not a particular municipality and was a tradition started by Tampa's first major sports team, the original Tampa Bay Rowdies, when they were founded in 1975.

The team joined the FCSL in the 2008 season, under the name the Clermont Mavericks and played their home games at East Ridge High School.
The Leesburg Lightning are a wood bat collegiate summer baseball league team located in Leesburg, Florida. The team is a member of the Florida Collegiate Summer League (FCSL) and plays its home games at Pat Thomas Stadium. The team joined the FCSL in the 2007 season, and won their first championship the same year. They have won two more titles since. The Lightning are currently the only FCSL team to offer free admission to home games.

The league's Winter Haven, Florida franchise, the Winter Haven Warthogs, moved to Winter Pines, Florida and became the Winter Pines Warthogs. The league's Zephyrhills, Florida franchise, the Zephyrhills Snappers, moved to Altamonte Springs, Florida and became the Zephyrhills Snappers. The league added a franchise in Orlando, Florida, the Orlando Hammers.
The 2007 FCSL season was the fourth season in the history of the Florida Collegiate Summer League, a wood bat collegiate summer baseball league operating in the southeastern United States region of central Florida. The league's Winter Pines franchise, the Winter Pines Warthogs, folded after two seasons in the league. Also, one of the league's Orlando, Florida franchises, the Orlando Shockers, disbanded after three seasons. With the departure of the Shockers, the Sanford River Rats and the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs became the only two remaining founding franchises of the FCSL. The league's second Orlando franchise, the Orlando Hammers, took a one-year hiatus from the FCSL, with plans to rejoin the league for the 2008 season. Both the Winter Springs Cudas of Winter Springs, Florida and the Leesburg Lightning of Leesburg, Florida.

The Florida Launch were a professional men's field lacrosse team based in Boca Raton, Florida. They joined Major League Lacrosse (MLL) as an expansion team for the 2014 season until 2019. The team played its home games at Florida Atlantic University Stadium. The team was owned by Jim Davis, founder and chairman of New Balance, an early investor in the MLL.
The Altamonte Springs Boom are a wood bat collegiate summer baseball league team located in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The team is a member of the Florida Collegiate Summer League (FCSL) and plays its home games at Lake Brantley High School Stadium. The club's inaugural season took place in 2015. The next season, the Boom finished with a record of 22–19, earning the league's second seed. The team then won a best-of-three playoff series against the DeLand Suns and defeated the Sanford River Rats in the title game to win their first FCSL championship, their only title to date.
