Ben Griffin (born 7 March 1986 in Brisbane, Queensland) is an Australian footballer who plays as a central defender. He went to school at Marist College Ashgrove in Brisbane. A talented junior he represented Australia at the under 17, under 21 and under 23 levels. From 2006 to 2009 Ben played for the Queensland Roar (now known as Brisbane Roar) in the A-League. After time away from the game he signed for Pine Hills in the Brisbane Capital League 2 for the 2017 season "wanting to help out with the younger talent".

Matthew Graham McKay is a retired Australian professional footballer who last played for Australian A-League club Brisbane Roar, and previously with the Australian national team. McKay currently holds the club's record for league appearances, 272. McKay played for Brisbane Roar since their first season in the A-League, and was their club captain up until the 2010–11 season, in which he led Brisbane to their first ever A-League championship and premiership. Following this triumphant victory McKay sought a new challenge in the first division of the Scottish Premiership with Rangers. McKay played an integral role in Australia's second placing in the 2011 AFC Asian Cup notably with 30m cross to centre forward Harry Kewell. He was also part of the Australian squad at the 2014 World Cup and 2015 AFC Asian Cup.

Brisbane Roar finished Premiers with two games remaining in the season following an Australian record unbeaten run, and later completed the Premiership and Championship double by beating the Central Coast Mariners in the Grand Final.

Brisbane Roar Football Club is an Australian professional association football club based in Brisbane, Queensland. The club was formed in 1957 as Hollandia-Inala before breaking off from Queensland Lions in 2005. They became the first Queensland member admitted into the A-League Men in 2005.
