Ben Marsden (born 19 May 1993) is a British rock guitarist, known as a member of the Wildhearts and the backing band for Warner E. Hodges. He also founded the Spangles.
Marsden formed the Spangles in the mid-2010s with Polly Phluid and Ginna Rhodes. Drummer Ace Carlton joined later. The band has released one full-length album and one EP, [1] and last toured in 2023. [2] Marsden has also been a member of the backing band for Warner E. Hodges since 2018, and has appeared on three albums with Hodges. [3] He then joined the Wildhearts in early 2024. [4] That band first played a series of shows as the Moodswingers [5] as a warmup for a headlining show at Shepherd's Bush Empire. [6] Marsden played on the album Satanic Rites of the Wildhearts , released in March 2025. [7]
